I challenged a young man who was waiting in line with his large dog. I don't want to sit in the same room with a dog. This young man told me he was told by the Columbus people his dog was welcome. I want to tell the Columbus people that no dog is welcome where I am drinking coffee. As I was leaving I saw another dog sitting at the back. Honestly, dogs have no place where food is served. As well, dogs are NOT people, as dog owners seem to believe. I won't be drinking coffee here anymore.
Love the espresso here. They also have good London fog if you don't want coffee. Staff are friendly! There's lots of space so you can bring your laptop if you have work to do.
The music is always way too loud, & the food is never good. Last time I went they were playing reggaeton music, which I like, but not what I want to hear at a café. That said, their coffee is good, & the space is nice.
The coffee is great here, but that's not why I'm making a review. Making a review because I can finally eat at a coffee shop with a gluten-free option that is not a brownie. They have sandwiches that are gluten free, & that are delicious. Finally a coffee shop that understands that we eat more than just brownies. Lol

Amazing place to have a coffee with someone special or simply to work a bit ! Not cheap but worth the money spent for the time spent ! The pear muffin is amazing !
It was a warm & sunny October day & my wife & I happened to be strolling along Monkland Avenue when the need for some caffeine suddenly overwhelmed us. Thankfully we were very near the Columbus Café. This was the former location of Starbucks. We ordered two cups of freshly brewed hot coffee, grabbed a table next to the window & people-watched the crowds walking by. What a pleasurable way to spend a beautiful autumn afternoon.
Beautiful place. Phenomenal service. Delicious food. Definitely get some freshly squeezed orange juice & their sandwiches. They are perfectly balanced & portioned. Coffee is also well balanced, good beans & we'll made.
I do enjoy my time here. May I suggest a one day a week reduced coffee price for seniors. I pay for locals in need who I know, ... who used to only walk on by Columbus.
