Thought this was called the spanish club. Not the Argentinian & spanish club. We were refused entry so they could let Argentinians in. Avoid this place. These new owners are not spaniards

Making the first floor available for Argentinians during the World Cup Finale against Spain is the worst decision the club could have made. We were hundreds of Spanish supporters in line at 12pm & because of this bad decision, we were denied entry. The new owner ruined it for many Spanish supporters. I will not be back. Imagine taking ownership of the Spanish Club & disrespecting the Spanish community.

What can I say... where do I start?

It's unfortunate that this place doesn't seem to have enough staff-or the right staff-to deliver the experience it has the potential to offer. It could be a fantastic spot to gather with friends & enjoy the terrace. It's truly a hidden gem with authentic Spanish food.

Unfortunately, watching the Spain FIFA 2026 match was a complete disappointment. There weren't enough screens outside, there was no sound, & the broadcast was about five minutes behind, which completely ruined the excitement of such an important match.

The place also seems to need better organization & management to bring back the great atmosphere it had under the previous administration.

One piece of advice: always check your final bill carefully. We were almost charged for someone else's tab.

Paying the bill was another challenge. The staff appeared overwhelmed, & when the place became crowded, the pushing & shoving created unnecessary tension that could easily have led to arguments.

I really hope they make some improvements because this restaurant has so much potential. I'd love to give it another chance once these issues are addressed.

Authentic Spanish flavors done right! The seafood paella is rich & vibrant, & the tapas-tender octopus, crispy crab croquettes , & bold patatas bravas-are a hit. Great food, warm atmosphere. A must-try in Montreal!

The original owner is back only for a few more weeks until April. Without him & his wife, the food & service after he retired was inconsistent. Today I had the pleasure to find him & the wonderful food & service my family & I ustoo get years ago when we first came to Canada. I felt home, the food was amazing, authentic taste & the service was up to part with true Spanish hospitality. I dure hope the new owner's can maintain the taste & warmth after he is gone in April.

This place has been around for a long time & is a mile end institution. It has one of the largest patios in the back. The decor is really simple but it is charming & unpretentious. It would benefit from some paint & ceiling repair. Perhaps a little more art on the walls. It has some large TVs to watch sport & a large bar.
Service was slow but once the food was ordered, it was quite ok. Half the food we ordered was good but not the other half as it felt like the shrimps were a bit undercooked, not fresh, perhaps even frozen & completely tasteless. Thankfully some of the other dishes we ordered were food. The taps portions were much more generous than any other place around the area. There was a flamenco show (not dancers) from a local band that mixed French, Spanish & another dialect. The place was quite empty for a Saturday. It’s still come back for nostalgia & simple bites.
