I ordered the porcetta sandwich based on the recommendation of another reviewer & Oh Myyyyy, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. You get two add ons for toppings for your sandwich (nice touch to layer flavors) & I added olives (thought they'd be green but they were black (still good!) & the pickled eggplant (cuts richness & adds acidity-also a childhood flavor courtesy of my Sicilian great grandma). Chewy but tender bread, lots of succulent meat, toppings & condiments rounded out the flavors. YUM. & a good sized sandwich, so good value for money. Oat milk latte nice & smooth so no sugar needed. Going back for the cannoli & another latte after I read my book for a bit!View more

Nice cafe to try out I tried their mortadella sandwich that is packed with meat & as well their Ceasar salad. Good portion sizes & a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend trying this place out .View more

We had the Porchetta sandwich, the Arancini, the soup of the day(lentilles & épinard) & the pizza. The bread of the sandwich is fresh & the winning piece that got me hooked. The arancini was my favourite thing of all - crispy on the outside & savoury/moist in the inside.View more

Depuis le déménagement, tout est en chute libre, je suis très déçu, comme beaucoup de vos anciens clients fidèles. Le service déjà pour commencer : il y a peut être 2 employés qui sont agréables, mais c'est tout. Pas de bonjour, aucun sourire, on ne se sent pas la bienvenue du tout. Encore aujourd'hui j'ai dit au revoir & ils me regardent...mais aucun mot ne sortent de leur bouche..aucun sourire..rien. Les sandwich ? La qualité a vraiment baissé, ça ne vaut plus le coup, & en plus 1 fois sur 2 ils se trompent sur le contenu commandé. C'est devenu une place de mauvais goût & c'est très dommage.View more

Love this space. Great atmosphere & design underlined by delicious food & great coffee. Prosciutto sandwich is delicious (add some pickles onto it - side note, where are you guys getting these pickles from?). The Nutella horn is phenomenal & their coffee blend is perfect & not too bitter. While I'm personally a Bossa girl when it comes to sandwiches (the amount of meat on those for the price can't be beat), the sandwiches here are great & not too heavy. One of us was hungover, it was time to go back to Toronto, & we have to lug our luggage in the rain. First meal of the day! This café was near our Airbnb, so we had it saved to go on our last day before our train leaves. It was relatively empty when we came in, around 1130. Design is so nice, so spacious & so aesthetic. It gave the vibe of a classic diner, but with their use of Green & cream colors, it gave a very modern & comforting twist. As usual in Montreal, the cashier will go "bonjour hello", & you pick which language you want to continue. There's a small menu in front of her the list of the sandwiches available. The sandwich bases are all the same, it's mostly the meat you choose, & two toppings. I chose the Fantino & cannot recommend it more. It's SO good. In fact, I boast to get my exact sandwich, fantino with sundried tomatos & their hot sauce. TRUST MEEEE I am salivating thinking of it like it was that good. One thing I notice is all Montreal cafes have merch. It's cute too. There's plenty of seating & you can just sit there in their comfy chairs for hours to be honest. Their coffee was great as well :) If I'm in Montreal again I will definitely be back, thank you!View more

This place is 65% sandwich shop, 35% cafe so the name can be misleading. The space offers a good amount of seating but the place can be exceptionally busy on weekends. Had a marvelous, delicious sandwich from here. All the ingredients were well-selected.View more

Portions & taste use to be amazing! Then they switched locations... now the portion sizes are muchhhhhhh smaller & when I brought it up the the employees I got a pretty rude answer back basically saying they're all the same & portions have always been the same. I had been buying from them for a year at least & never seen that employee before. I then asked the manager to make sure I get a generous amount in my sandwich like the old days & she said yes no problem. So I go again last week, didn't complaint about the portion or anything. Just let them do their thing... I got a chicken & a miserable half piece. Put together they did not even come close to filling the sand which there was about 2 " of just bread on either end... def not going back again. & if you do decide to go just tell them not to rip you off. 2nd update: my sandwich wasn't so great this time, one part of the chicken cutlet was ok the other was severely overcooked & chewy. Kinda sad as the sandwich before was amazing even tho it's kinda expensive Update: service is faster now, some women work there now, sandwiches are fantastic. Coffee/espresso is still the best I've tasted in North America so far! Old review: Very slow, kinda off-putting service but DAMN what a good tasting cup of coffee. Honestly great little sandwich shop. Cashier was okay but not super helpful or nice when i asked questions about toppings etc. Took a while to get the sandwiches but the place was popping so I get it. We did get a table which was lucky. Je suis allée chercher un sandwich chez Clarke &, ça faisait un moment que je n'y étais pas allée (je connais l'endroit depuis ses débuts sur Centre) & je dois dire que je n'ai pas retrouvée la même qualité qu'avant, c'est dommage. La quantité & la qualité du poulet, notamment, ont changé & la garniture (feuilles de romaine, tomates) a aussi diminué. J'espère sincèrement qu'ils vont se reprendre & offrir des produits de qualité, comme au premier jour! C'est LA signature de la place & leurs cafés, bien sûr;) Enfin, je trouve l'endroit un peu plus froid que le précédent, lié sans doute au fait que ça soit plus grand & tout nouveau. Les sandwichs sont délicieux!! Je trouve le nouveau local vraiment beau !! Le service est excellent la semaine mais le sourire à la caisse est déficient le week-end :( ... quelques erreurs de commandes ce sont déjà produites le week-end mais je crois que c'est parce que la compréhension du français est déficient... peut-être numéroté vos sandwichs pour éviter l'air bête de la caissière quand tu annonces que ce n'est pas ce que tu as commandé

Clarke est rapidement devenu une institution dans le quartier & je recommande fortement de luncher à cette sandwicherie ! Situé dans le quartier, l'ambiance est intime & dynamique. Le personnel est hautement compétent & bilingue : la cuisine roule comme une armée & la nourriture est EXCELLENTE. C'est selon moi du S tier à Montréal.
La merch est INCROYABLE : j'ai pas eu le choix de prendre une casquette. Les produits fins sont super & il y a une bonne diversité de produits.
Perso, je recommande la slush de limonade & le sandwich de poulet panné (chicken cutlets).
Pour le stationnement : soyez patien, c'est dans la rue & il y a peu de places.View more
