I recently visited Clarke Café (PSC), located at 1207 Rue Shearer, Montréal, QC H3K 1H8, & it's a pretty cool spot! 😎 The place is unassuming, with a simple & laconic (minimalist) interior, but it feels welcoming. It has a good number of tables for its size, which is convenient. 🛋? tables
What really stands out is the food! They offer a large selection of sandwiches, various baked goods, & all sorts of other tasty treats. 🥪🍰 You won't be short on delicious options here! The coffee is also really good - strong & aromatic, just how I like it. ☕👃
&, as a bonus, there are lots of beautiful staff members! 😉 It adds to the pleasant atmosphere.
I definitely recommend checking out Clarke Café (PSC) if you're in the area looking for good coffee & a great selection of food in a relaxed setting!

One of the best sandwiches of my life. 2 days after eating this sandwich & I'm still thinking about it.
Next time, I will buy two. I can only eat 1/2 (at best, they're huge). I want two so that my relationship with the chicken cutlet sandwich can be extended beyond a single day.

My husband & I have been huge Clarke Café fans for years, so when it came time to think of vendors to have at our wedding's midnight table, without a doubt Clarke Café had to be there. From our initial email exchange, to the night of the wedding, everything was communicated clearly, they were super easy to work with, & of course the sandwiches were an absolute hit. We chose the grilled chicken, prosciutto & sausage sandwiches & each were absolutely delicious & as fresh as could be. We had quite a few family members who had never tried Clarke Café sandwiches before & now they are hooked. We can't thank the Clarke Café team enough for the wonderful service we received, as well as the delicious sandwiches. They are a fantastic addition to any midnight table (or event in general!) I ordered the porcetta sandwich based on the recommendation of another reviewer & Oh Myyyyy, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. You get two add ons for toppings for your sandwich (nice touch to layer flavors) & I added olives (thought they'd be green but they were black (still good!) & the pickled eggplant (cuts richness & adds acidity-also a childhood flavor courtesy of my Sicilian great grandma). Chewy but tender bread, lots of succulent meat, toppings & condiments rounded out the flavors. YUM. & a good sized sandwich, so good value for money. Oat milk latte nice & smooth so no sugar needed. Going back for the cannoli & another latte after I read my book for a bit!View more

Love this space. Great atmosphere & design underlined by delicious food & great coffee. Prosciutto sandwich is delicious (add some pickles onto it - side note, where are you guys getting these pickles from?). The Nutella horn is phenomenal & their coffee blend is perfect & not too bitter. While I'm personally a Bossa girl when it comes to sandwiches (the amount of meat on those for the price can't be beat), the sandwiches here are great & not too heavy. One of us was hungover, it was time to go back to Toronto, & we have to lug our luggage in the rain. First meal of the day! This café was near our Airbnb, so we had it saved to go on our last day before our train leaves. It was relatively empty when we came in, around 1130. Design is so nice, so spacious & so aesthetic. It gave the vibe of a classic diner, but with their use of Green & cream colors, it gave a very modern & comforting twist. As usual in Montreal, the cashier will go "bonjour hello", & you pick which language you want to continue. There's a small menu in front of her the list of the sandwiches available. The sandwich bases are all the same, it's mostly the meat you choose, & two toppings. I chose the Fantino & cannot recommend it more. It's SO good. In fact, I boast to get my exact sandwich, fantino with sundried tomatos & their hot sauce. TRUST MEEEE I am salivating thinking of it like it was that good. One thing I notice is all Montreal cafes have merch. It's cute too. There's plenty of seating & you can just sit there in their comfy chairs for hours to be honest. Their coffee was great as well :) If I'm in Montreal again I will definitely be back, thank you!View more

We LOVE this place. Although we were in the neighborhood for an entire month we didn't make it to Clarke Cafe until our final week & we went there every day including a stop on our way out of town to take sandwiches & treats with us on the road. The staff is super friendly, especially the owners, the food is made with the best ingredients & is wonderfully flavorful. Over the course of the few days we went there, we tried alot of the sandwiches; our favorites were definitely the porchetta, chicken cutlet, tuna, & Calabrese. The pastries are also excellent! There was a bit of a wait during lunch time, but not too bad at all. We can't wait to go back to Clarke Cafe the next time we're in town.View more
