This is the peak speakeasy experience & my favorite in all of Montreal. Their specialization in tequila & mezcal is so exceptional that even those that don't enjoy tequila or mezcal will appreciate the menu.
I came here years ago & was blown away by the quality of the cocktail, extensive tequila & mezcal selection, environment, & fantastic service. We come back every summer & always have a great experience - & you will too.

Beautiful bar in old Montreal. Their drink selection was amazing. As a fan of mezcal & tequila, they definitely know how to prepare a drink. The staff was friendly & fun to speak with. I am amazed at the drinks they served; you can tell the amount of preparation & dedication they pour into their menu. Most definitely will come back again on my next trip to Montreal. Le Clandestin is my absolute favorite speakeasy in the Old Port! The decor & ambiance are so dimly lit, mysterious, & intimate-you truly feel like time stops! The selection of tequila & cocktails? Just wow, wow, wow! The service is super professional, & the bartenders are absolutely top-notch.
