Our server, Cyrille was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely eat at this restaurant anytime we are in Montréal.Voir plus
It used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But the quality of the dishes has gone way down, & the prices (which were already high) have gone WAY UP. In short, it shows that the owner is only interested in making money. I can't recommend.Voir plus
I would be lying to anyone if I said there's a more classic vegan restaurant in Montreal. First came here in 1999, it's been on my mind ever since. I now eat here three times a week. Just the best!Voir plus
Have been here a few times over the years & I wasn't sure if it would match the quality & experience that I had in the past & it did! Delicious & super impressive.Voir plus
Went first time to this place as my friend chose it. It was my treat for her birthday. Must say, was mighty impressed with the awesome food & truly exceptional service. They also remembered from the conversation that it was my friend's birthday & surprised her with a candle on the dessert chocolate cake she ordered! Overall a wonderful experience & would definitely recommend. Meat eaters will not miss the meat.Voir plus
Still my favorite Thai place in Montreal, vegan or otherwise. Flavors are on point - the dumpling sauce is some of the best I've had - & the restaurant itself is nice & modern. Good, efficient, friendly service. However, the prices have shot way up & the serving side has gone down (the price for a tiny bowl of fried spinach is unreal). Stick to mains instead of entrees.Voir plus
Busy place, food was ok. Overhyped in my opinion. Everything is vegan - enjoyed the mango salad, fresh rolls & pad Thai. 'beef' was ok. You can choose your spice level. Full house, gets very loud & uncomfortable as you cannot even hear the person next to you. People were literally shouting. Very Bad acoustics & very dark inside the restaurant, hence the 1 star for ambiance. Felt like a cafeteria. Server described their service as faster than mcdonalds...lol wasn't too sure about anything after that comment.Voir plus
Merci à Hind, pour son accueil & son sourire. les plats étaient super bonVoir plus
Amazing vegan Thai food . Must visit in Montreal . I wish I lived here so I could visit often 😊Voir plus
I am not vegan/vegetarian. Party of 6. Ordered a bunch of apps/mains for sharing. All of the food was EXCELLENT. Family owned. Very personable. Great service (timing, plating, etc). I'm from the States but will gladly come back to ChuChai when back in Montreal.Voir plus
Waouh ! Végan +++ Quelle carte, quel choix, quelle présentation ! C'est trop bon & le service est très sympathique :-) (Seul petit bémol, salle un peu bruyante)Voir plus
My favourite vegan restaurant in montreal. By far the best vegan Thai food you will ever have! Delicious peanut butter dumplings & 3 flavours (imitation) beef. Soy (Imitation) duck with spinach is also delicious! An absolute must try if you haven't been yet!Voir plus
Je suis venue plusieurs fois manger à chaque fois le même plat : Ped Palo - Crispy vegan duck. Incroyablement délicieux ! L'imitation du canard est très réussie !Voir plus
We got the Thai Princess drink, dumplings in peanut sauce (Kiao satay), the vegan chicken skewers (Gai Satay), the vegan beef in 3 flavor sauce (Neua Sam Rod), the eggplant & vegan shrimp (koung pad makere). I would recommend the Gai Satay & the Neua Sam Rod, it was really flavorful & the vegan beef had a nice crispy texture. I'm personally not a fan of the shrimp texture, which was probably made with konjac jelly. I've been here before & tried the crispy vegan duck & would highly recommend it as well. The ambience is really cozy & chic. The staff is really friendly & explained all the dishes we were curious about. I would visit again!Voir plus
As a lacto ovo vegetarian, vegan restaurants are a special haven for me, given that I can order anything & everything, no holds barred. I had the spring rolls & pad Thai & I have to say this was just some of the best Thai food & vegan food that I've had. It was a good omen from the get-go. My mom & I didn't have reservations (albeit we did walk in after 8pm on Saturday eve) & we were seated right away. Staff were extremely friendly & attentive without being over-bearing. The spring rolls weren't fried & were wrapped in rice paper (this was a plus for me as I'm always trying for healthier options). Although the rolls were cold, they came with a warm peanut sauce. We ended the night with the vegan cheesecake & I can honestly say we were left feeling light, well-fed, & full of endorphins! Highly recommend!Voir plus
ChuChai was absolutely amazing! Everything was fantastic. The food was incredible, the staff were excellent, & the atmosphere was lovely. This was one of the best meals I've ever had, & one of the best restaurant experiences. I will definitely go back to Montreal just to go to ChuChai!Voir plus
Really high-quality vegan Thai fusion cuisine just up the street from Momo. The duck is freaky good. The service is always good but can often be understaffed & slow at the times we've visited. Atmosphere is clean & nice but very tight & loud during busy hours. Chuchai should join the Christian Ventura empire.Voir plus
Best vegetarian food ever & I am not a vegetarian. Food went beyond my expectations. Everything was delicious, the fried dumplings were amazing so was the pad thai & duck. I also found it fairly pricedVoir plus
