I actually love the ice cream & the personnel were so nice with me,a employee gave me a cocoa chocolate that i wanted to pay for but i didnt know how to say it,next time i come to ill pay that chocolate
I always go to chocomax to grab the their hot chocolate or mocha. I never used to like hot chocolates but ever since i tried theirs, this has changed. I can gladly say that it's the best hot chocolate in montreal! It's perfect for the winter & cozy season. & their service is amazing. The owner is really friendly & makes sure to make your drink the way you want it. I recently tried their ice cream & i fell in love with it. The chocolate flavour really stood out to me. Can't wait for summer again so i could always go & grab it! Overall 10/10!

The owner was very welcoming & generous. She let me sample the different chocolates before buying them. The flavours are unique, & I can tell the quality is high from the way the chocolate snaps when it's broken. I will definitely come back to try the other flavours as well as the gelato.
The gelatos are delicious & the owner was really kind & did not hesitate one instant to make us taste their various different flavors of gelatos. We also did enjoy their truffles & pistachio chocolates.

Hidden Gem for artisan chocolate & gelato ice cream in VSL area:) Such enjoy the atmosphere，lovely welcome & cleam！Family business so people who works here really nice & generous :D I would really recommend dark chocolate mix flavored kunefe with pistachios! Wonderful design & inspiration! For gelato, pls try Achata- which is the best! For no dairy try Blood orange sorbet. Owner bought orange from France, their pistachio which also import from Sicilia-Italy. Well personally enjoy black sesame, rum raisin, banana!! Both of the flavor were my favorites.
Lovely place & the staff is very friendly & quick! The food was amazing & genuinely the best gelato I have ever had! Their artisanal chocolates & coffee are also delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Amazing local homemade chocolate & ice cream. Family oriented business that puts a lot of effort & investment into their craft. Great service & staff. High quality product & great atmosphere.

The best chocolates in the city, in the country hands down! I've been eating chocolates & soft serve ice cream at Chocomax for 14 years & still going strong!!!!! They just reopened with a new look & awesome neon sign!!!! Come get the ice cream!
It was my first time buying chocolate from this business & I was really disappointed. They only had 4 different chocolates on display that you could choose from, so not many varieties that day. They said that that inconvenience was because they had just reopened after a 2 month break, so I believe that normally they have more varieties to choose from.
First off, apologies for the not-so-great pictures, they don't do justice for how AMAZING the chocolates are 😭 You can taste the quality of the chocolates, they're very decadent & they carry a variety of flavours. We also had their hot chocolate & it's a must try!!! The texture is very rich, they make it out of real chocolate (I.e not made out of powder). Even when they were making it, the lady made us try it first & asked if we wanted more chocolate, which I found to be nice of her!! The service... is honestly impeccable. The lady was so nice & informative when it came to explaining the chocolates. She even made us try a few to see which ones we liked! We'll definitely come back to try their ice creams when it's back in season 😊 Overall, if you're looking for high quality chocolates with 5 star service, this is the place to visit. I felt like a kid at the Willy Wonka chocolate factory 😂 I couldn't recommend it more! :)
