We tried the vanilla & chocolate soft serve as well as the Biscoff gelato. The gelato was good, & the soft serve was pretty good too. They have tons of dipping & sprinkle options to choose from. I recommend giving the dipped soft serve a try if you're visiting!
Ice cream was fine. The milk chocolate that was used to dip tasted synthetic & did not have any taste of chocolate. Also 8$ for a small vanilla dipped is mighty expensive.
This place is awesome. Delish soft serve with many dip-able chocolate flavors. Great spot for a cool down on a hot day.
Sorbets are so fresh & taste like real fruit! Also tried their soft cream serve dipped in dark chocolate & raspberry, the coating turned into a thick & rich chocolate & when you bite in it... Mamma mia. Great quality ingredients, great service 👌🏻
After a day of exploring Mont-Tremblant Village, stopping at Chocolato was the perfect way to end the evening. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, with plenty of unique flavors & chocolate dip options to choose from. The dipped soft-serve is a must-try-the rich chocolate coating hardens perfectly around the ice cream & tastes amazing. The shop is especially known for its chocolate-covered ice cream, gelato, & specialty hot chocolates. rite dessert spots, & the kids are already asking to go back on our next trip. Highly recommended for families & anyone with a sweet tooth! 🍦🍫😊
The interior is absolutely mind blowing. It is a must see ice cream shop. Plus has a patio to sit outside with a small park for kids.
We go to chocolato every time we visit Tremblant & we love their menu. Today, however, the service was not great. I was trying to understand the different menu options & the cashier was not helpful, & she gave me an attitude by saying that the items are on the board. While that is true for many of the items, it is not the case for the parfaits. I ordered a banana split & it came without a chocolate topping, & I had to ask for it after they handed me the order.
Located in the heart of the pedestrian village, Chocolato is much more than a simple dessert shop; it is a true haven for chocolate enthusiasts. The ambiance is immediately inviting, striking a perfect balance between a modern boutique & a warm, rustic escape. During my visit, it was raining outside, which made the experience even more special. There is nothing quite like escaping the damp weather to sit near their roaring fireplace, getting warm & cozy while the scent of melted Belgian chocolate fills the air.
The food selection is impressively vast, ranging from dessert pizzas & waffles to their famous 20 varieties of pure chocolate dips. I had the pleasure of trying the Hot Chocolate Royale, & it was truly exquisite-rich, silky, & the ultimate comfort drink for a rainy day.
Their ice cream choices are equally commendable. I opted for a combination of Crunchy Hazelnut & Coffee Coffee Crunch. The pairing was fantastic; the deep, roasted notes of the coffee perfectly complemented the nutty sweetness & texture of the hazelnut. Whether you are looking for a decadent sundae or a quiet spot to defrost after a walk through the resort, Chocolato is a must-visit destination
Forgot about your fancy gelato, the best part here is their soft serving ice cream!
Creamy, rich, thick on the taste, just right sweet level(unless you dip into the sweet chocolate). We can't get enough of their swirl soft serving!
Lanes will be long for after dinner time, be prepared.
I ordered the dark chocolate ice cream, but it was quite disappointing. It barely had any real chocolate flavor, & there was a noticeable faint'freezer' taste, like it had been sitting for too long.
The texture was okay, but the overall taste felt stale & not fresh. Definitely not what I would expect from a place serving specialty desserts.
I hope they improve their quality & freshness.
TLDR: come here for crappy service & mediocre sweets
Tried the marble soft serve with dark chocolate dip. Nothing special. Typical soft serve with typical chocolate.
What was really bad was the older lady manning the cashier. She was extremely rude to everyone. She even yelled at us to'stop trying to steal someone else's identity by looking at the credit card reader while someone else is using it' when 4 of us were clearly looking at the sign on the counter for available flavors.
She also yelled at several other people for various things. Several groups came in the door when they were trying to close & she yelled'We're closed. Leave'
