I live nearby, been a regular since 2023. This time food really slaps I had to give a review.
I ordered:
- Nagasaki Udon (Soup)
- Makchang (Hotplate Intestines spicy Mala)
- Green Onion Chicken
- a portion of Takoyaki for free just had to post an Instagram story
Hands down this is a must go for Korean Fried Chicken in town, good food must go with a price. Its 10/10 worth it
Thanks for being very generous with the green onion
I visited this place on 23rd of january & everything was amazing. The fried chicken was delicious as always & the waiters were all so good looking. Also they played really cool korean songs which enlightened my group's mood even more.

I learned about this place recently because my white son (my lovely wife is vietnamese; his mother, my ex-wife, is white) & his little korean girlfriend come here often. The food was okay, just okay, because my vietnamese wife did not mention how it reminded her of home, so it must've not felt that authentic. I used to not pay any mind to where they would dine at, but recently his receipts have been alarmingly high. I asked him why, & he said the store rebranded so the prices got higher. As a husband, I must take my beloved asian wife out on dates, & even though we pay separately, I cannot afford to give my son that much pocket change. However, I was very excited to see that my son & I shared the same taste for women (sidenote, I'm not really sure which Korea his girlfriend is from, but she is pretty regardless), so I asked my good for nothing youngling if he, & more importantly, his girlfriend, liked the food. I am writing this to complain that not only did the price go up, the portions went down & they leave with a half full belly! & he told me the menu options got'nuked' (not really sure what that means), & that he is considering taking his girlfriend elsewhere. I'm afraid I won't be able to afford giving him any more pocket change. I love my vietnamese wife, & the taste of vanilla, too much, to afford to give him any more money to take his petite girlfriend out. Also, one of the workers is really not easy on my eyes. Since when was it acceptable for waiters to wear hooded sweaters on the clock?! A terrible example for my teenage son, who has been dining here for God knows how long before I came & found out how debauched the workwear was!
Definitely the best korean fried chicken in MTL. I have been here a few times & the chicken was always very crispy & juicy, but not oily. While the Supreme was my favourite fried chicken, I enjoyed the Makchang (grilled intestines) even more. Very reasonably priced spot for a date or with friends. Will definitely be back!
This used to be the place I frequently go with friends with reasonable price fried chicken & good beer, but now the menu is completely changed. Fried chicken is no longer affordable, there are way less choices, & the portion is smaller. It's now just another over-priced korean place with ok-ish food
This used to be our favorite place that we go every month but suddenly, they changed their menu & the dishes were a lot different. The fried chicken portion was smaller than before & they increased the price as well. We normally order Supreme with the Korean red sauce but this last round the sauce tastes almost exactly like ketchup.
Now, if I would choose KFC over than this place
The tteokbokki ingredients were weird & the portion was less than before.
We used to love their fried chicken skin & corn cheese that were reasonably priced but they totally removed those items from the menu.
In the past, I would recommend this to everyone as the e best fried chicken in MTL. Now, I will not go there anymore unless they change back to the way before.

One of the best Korean fried chicken in town. Lovely place with cozy environment for friends & family. The portion is quite generous for 24$. Beware it will be more than an adult to take one order, perhaps 1.5 unless you are very hungry. What we usually do is to come in as 3 people: 2 portion of fried chicken & 1 chicken skin. Oh, & the Seafood JammBBong (seafood stew hotpot) is very good too, but it's spicy!!
The staff is very friendly too
A+
Stunning Korean fried chicken. The seafood jjambbong i had was pretty bland, i didn't know why. I have ordered a several take out of their fried chicken After my first visit, here are a summary:
-baby powder: 5⭐/5⭐, simple, tasty, & not overpowering
-angry bird: 3⭐/5⭐, not a big fan of the sour spicy sauce, became monotone After a short while.
- honey butter: 3⭐/5⭐, too sweet for me
- yangnyeom: 4⭐/5⭐, classic Korean sauce, sweet & with flavors
- truffle fried chicken: 4⭐/5⭐, elevated by the parmesan cheese. Could get a little flavor fatigue in midway.
- supreme : 5⭐/5⭐, creamy & full of flavours.
I wish to try their cajun cream, but it's no longer there (at least for the 3 times that i asked) I'll see if i try more flavors & update the post

This place was hands down the best Korean restaurant I've ever been to in Montreal. I'd recommend the supreme chickens. If you like a bit more casual, the originals are also the 2nd best!
If you are looking for some authentic Korean food, this is probably the right place for you. We ordered dalgbal (chicken feet) & yangnyeom fried chicken, it was a lot of food for two ppl. Dalgbal came with rice & seaweed, you can make small rice balls & eat them together with the sauce. I know chicken feet is not for everyone, but it's tastier than it sounds! ;) Yangnyeom chicken was good, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. It was too sweat for us. They also have a patio on the top floor if you want to sit outside with the good weather.
This place is renowned for their Korean fried chicken. We ordered their crispy chicken skins, classic fried chicken wings & tteokbokki . The wings were very crunchy but the Tteokbokki was my personal favorite.
I used to love this place, but I was disappointed with the recent changes. The food quality seems different, & the portions have shrunk. For example, an order of chicken drumsticks used to include 10 pieces, but now it's only 8-& at a higher price.
We also tried a new appetizer from the menu: fried chicken skin. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. It was deep-fried, sprinkled with cumin powder, & served with an unfamiliar white sauce. The flavor was odd & didn't feel Korean at all.
I really hope they can return to the quality & value they once had.
Pretty damn good Korean friend chicken. When i went the service was pretty good, as soon we ran out of pickled radish the server refilled us each time lol. Strong recommend. They also do take out which is great.
Amazing Valentine's Day & great KFC. Boyfriend was tragically disappointed by no longer having your buldak fried chicken 😭 #bringthemback would love a combo option so that non Koreans can taste your spicy dishes without committing 👌🏽
I recently dined at a Korean restaurant & tried the Yangnyeom Chicken. It was absolutely delicious-perfectly crispy with a flavorful spicy-sweet glaze. Highly recommend!
