I live nearby, been a regular since 2023. This time food really slaps I had to give a review.
I ordered:
- Nagasaki Udon (Soup)
- Makchang (Hotplate Intestines spicy Mala)
- Green Onion Chicken
- a portion of Takoyaki for free just had to post an Instagram story
Hands down this is a must go for Korean Fried Chicken in town, good food must go with a price. Its 10/10 worth it
Thanks for being very generous with the green onion
One of the best fried chicken restos in town. The fried chicken menu changes regularly but they usually have great options. Conch salad also delicious.
I visited this place on 23rd of january & everything was amazing. The fried chicken was delicious as always & the waiters were all so good looking. Also they played really cool korean songs which enlightened my group's mood even more.
Definitely the best korean fried chicken in MTL. I have been here a few times & the chicken was always very crispy & juicy, but not oily. While the Supreme was my favourite fried chicken, I enjoyed the Makchang (grilled intestines) even more. Very reasonably priced spot for a date or with friends. Will definitely be back!
This used to be the place I frequently go with friends with reasonable price fried chicken & good beer, but now the menu is completely changed. Fried chicken is no longer affordable, there are way less choices, & the portion is smaller. It's now just another over-priced korean place with ok-ish food
Came on Sunday the 26th of October & the fried chicken was SO salty. I think they might have put too much salt in the fried chicken batter because the sauce itself wasn't what was salty. The food overall went down since they opened & the menu seems smaller with less chicken flavours & types ,only boneless (which is cut too thin) or drums.
The music choice was questionable, until 9Pm songs like Gucci Gang, Megan thee stallion & Cardi B were blasting. Floor staff were nice.
This used to be our favorite place that we go every month but suddenly, they changed their menu & the dishes were a lot different. The fried chicken portion was smaller than before & they increased the price as well. We normally order Supreme with the Korean red sauce but this last round the sauce tastes almost exactly like ketchup.
Now, if I would choose KFC over than this place
The tteokbokki ingredients were weird & the portion was less than before.
We used to love their fried chicken skin & corn cheese that were reasonably priced but they totally removed those items from the menu.
In the past, I would recommend this to everyone as the e best fried chicken in MTL. Now, I will not go there anymore unless they change back to the way before.
A bit of a disappointing experience.
We ordered truffle fries & boneless honey butter chicken. The fries were not homemade, lukewarm, & tasted nothing like truffle, instead it tasted only pamassan. We told the waiter & they gave us another fries plate, this time pretty hot without truffle flavor but it's still appreciated. & the honey butter chicken tasted really good with the sauce, just too much crispy with not enough chicken. It's the second time I visit there, again a bit disappointed. Btw, the dished takes a looooooong time 30 minutes for just fries & 1 hour for the fried chicken & it's noisy.
Everytime I go the food is very good. The fried chicken with thicker sauces are always the best (e.g. yangnyeom & Supreme). They come in 8 pieces per plate. The powdered chicken & honey butter are a little dry, so not my favorites. The soft pork intestines were also tasty, but too spicy for me despite the menu saying it wasn't (I'm with spice normally).
The bathrooms are always clean & the vibe is great. Service is a little slow (water, bill, limited on free pickled radishes), but ok if you want to chat longer (they'll still ask you to leave if you stay too long, but that's reasonable in my opinion since it was a busy). No need for appetizers since the 8 chicken will be very filling already.
I tried 4 different flavors of fried chicken (supreme, honey butter, angry bird & angel onion) & my favorite flavour was Supreme, I recommend it. The fries were also very good.
One of the best Korean fried chicken in town. Lovely place with cozy environment for friends & family. The portion is quite generous for 24$. Beware it will be more than an adult to take one order, perhaps 1.5 unless you are very hungry. What we usually do is to come in as 3 people: 2 portion of fried chicken & 1 chicken skin. Oh, & the Seafood JammBBong (seafood stew hotpot) is very good too, but it's spicy!!
The staff is very friendly too
A+
