Takoyaki had 2 pieces of octopus which was great! It was crispy & tasted like your usual takoyaki. I really enjoyed the curry cheese udon with the potato croquette. The cheese made it very creamy & thick & the curry had a great flavour! I tried my boyfriend's regular curry rice & I enjoyed this much more. The potato croquette was nicely fried & piping hot! I do wish the portion was bigger though.
Ordered a salmon poke bowl, it was okay I guess, expected more avocado. Prices are 4$ higher than what's on the menu in gmaps.
I went to this place because it was close to my hotel & had great reviews on Google. I was not disappointed. The place is small but cozy. It was not crowded, & the service was friendly & quick. My soup was very good, & it was a good value for the money. I would definitely recommend it.
Would highly recommend. Uncommon delicious broth, crispy flavourful shrimp tempura, sweet staff, quick service, chill ambiance
Amazing japanese restaurant with no-frills authentically savoured food. Stays away from stereotypical pseudo japanese food, & it's fine !! I'll be back next time I miss Japan.
Correct. Rien d'extra. Français déficient -1. Personnel sympathique +1. Endroit sans âme, décoré à la vite. Siège inconfortable.
atmosphere was comfortable, but respectfully some of the food was nowhere near authentic. the bone broth in the udon was good, & we appreciated the variety of nabe veggies in it. on the other hand, the katsu was thin, dry & burnt, the chicken katsu also thin & dry, curry lacked depth of flavour, & the cabbage & pumpkin on the rice are also either overly burnt or soggy. & there was raisins on the curry rice which was weird. that was the saddest curry katsu don i've tasted...
Dont know why it's Called that. Great food tho. Some of the best Japanese curry in the city
A very quaint & authentic Japanese restaurant which is a hidden gem in Montreal. We have tried many Japanese restaurants in Singapore, Malaysia, US, UK, Canada & of course Japan & this restaurant is right up there with some of the best we ever tried. The owner is so warm & friendly & the decor is immaculate, bespoke & so we'll thought of. The food is amazing, fresh & portion sizes are very good. We really enjoyed our dinner & will surely return when we are next in Montreal.
Lovely little Japanese restaurant with lots of plants, & studio ghibili memorabilia on the walls. It's quiet & very relaxing. The poke bowl was delicious, with a creamy slightly sauce that is perfection. The iced lychee green tea was sweet & refreshing. Highly recommend!
Nice, cozy place & kind service. But the dish lacked flavors. Also, portion was too small.
Very cute & cozy Japanese spot on Parc ave. Their korokke & gyudon are great, & I'm definitely coming back for their wintermelon & lime ice tea!
