japanese(27) cozy(15) recommend(11) soup(7) chicken(7) fried rice(6) udon(6) fried(6) curry(6) cheese(6) rice(6) highly recommend(5)The place is cozy & so relaxing! The wonderful woman who took our order was so nice & helped me figure out which ramen I should get! Both my partner & I's bowls were practically licked clean by the end of the meal, & the sake was much better than I thought it would be for my first time trying it! I hope we can make it back again before the end of our trip. Thank you for such great service & food!
Cadre simple & authentique.
On sent que C est fait maison.
A gem in Montreal. The food is insanely good, the place is small & feels cozy.
This is our top Japanese place in Montreal.
Bonus points for old Adidas Tennis rackets on the wall. It is truly Japanese comfort food.
Hidden gem. Good food. Comfy place. Good music. Very kind waitress. Not crowded.
Nice little Japanese restaurant serving good homey dishes. Will go back

Tried the chicken ramen - tasty & comforting, not flashy but well-made. The broth had a nice depth & the chicken was tender. The vibe is a big part of the experience: the place is cozy & lined with iconic anime posters & Studio Ghibli poster s - Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, which gives the space a fun, nostalgic energy. Pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.
Knowing well Japanese food living in Asia. Yes this is good but in my opinion way too much oil & onions in the sauce & not enough meat
Given the price I was disappointed by the portion (quite small) the tiny bit of meat & the huge amount of oil - the egg is a simple sunny side up not at all the Japanese egg I was expecting to get in a Japanese restaurant & for the price we paid!! Biggest disappointment
Service: there always only 1 girl in charge of the whole restaurant - so there was a very long wait - but she was very graceful & smiley
The gyoza are very good & the chicken as well
Ended up paying 120$ for 3 & not sure whether it's really worth it
