I can only rate a 5-star on the food I ate that day. I ordered a Chupe de Camarones, a Ceviche de Pezcado, a Papa a la Huancaina & an Alfrajor. 5-star an all of them. I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, as I have not tried those plates but am definitely looking forward to find out.
I have tried many Peruvian restaurants: Melchorita, Eche pa Echarle, Pachamama, Las 3 Conchitas, Dos Ornos, & the Ceviche here has been one of the best ones. Fresh soft fish (none chewy) & great taste. The Chupe was equally tasty & hearty. The same for the Alfajor, fresh, & made with generous amount of dulce de leche.
This is not a 5-star luxurious restaurant but the food is close to excellent & is run by two owners who care.
5/5 would recommend.
Very good Peruvian Restaurant, one of the best in Montreal. The Ceviche mixte & the seafood soup were really tasty & fresh.
Had a beef stir fry on rice & potatoe & the portion was generous & tasty.
Highly recommend this place if you want a unique taste. Beef was also very tender & enjoyable with the exotic touch of peruvian sauce.
I wish I could give more stars I really wanted to enjoy our mother's day breakfast of pan con chicharon but they were severely understaffed. Food & coffee was lukewarm at best, service was definitely lacking & the TV that was playing music was 5 inches from our ears so we had a hard time hearing each other speak. Food was tasty but cold, the place itself was clean with some Peruvian decor. It is on the smaller side so I would recommend calling to reserve if you're set on eating there. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than we did.
Really cute & homey family business with the hands down the best jalea in town!! Fresh ingredient, tasty flavour with homecooked love, definitely one of our favourite peruvian restaurant :)) We ve eaten in & catered from there, both were amazing!!
