Chicho's is widely praised for authentic Peruvian cuisine in Montreal, with diners calling the food amazing, portions generous, and the service consistently attentive. The ceviche mixte and seafood soup are repeatedly highlighted as fresh and tasty, while the breakfast option is described as among the best. The dining room is described as cozy and the staff as friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Many reviews mention that the flavors convey true sazón criolla and deliver a genuine Peruvian taste for visitors from elsewhere as well as locals. Popular dishes such as ceviche, marina mixta, pan con chicharron, and mero del macho, along with strong drinks and sauces, are frequently recommended. The space can be small and lively, with music that is sometimes a bit loud, but the overall experience remains positive and worth returning for. Overall, Chicho's stands out as one of the top Peruvian spots in Montreal with repeat visits and broad recommendations.

Riquísimo!
Today I came to enjoy a Peruvian breakfast, & honestly, it was the best choice!
The food tastes truly authentic, full of that traditional sazón criolla flavor that every Peruvian hopes to find abroad. Mrs. Flor took great care of us; she was kind, attentive, & made our experience even better. I really enjoyed my time here, eating & savoring a real Peruvian breakfast.
We came all the way from Toronto looking for authentic Peruvian food, & this place absolutely delivered! I highly recommend it to anyone , tourists or locals who want to experience the true taste of Peru

Brought my family to Chicho's & everyone loved the food! The ceviche & pescados were absolutely delicious - some of the best we've had. Truly one of the top spots in town for authentic Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommend!
Edit: OMG & the alfajor…. Simply THE BEST!
The food & drinks were amazing - tout était très delicieux. I'm including a pic off of their instagram page of the food I ordered, since it inspired me to order the same dish. I am from out of province & for a year, I have been dreaming of going back to the restaurant for this specific dish. That specific dish lasted multiple meals as I ordered it alone. It was super filling too. They also recommended I try a purple drink called Ronda Marina, & it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back soon!
Had a beef stir fry on rice & potatoe & the portion was generous & tasty.
Highly recommend this place if you want a unique taste. Beef was also very tender & enjoyable with the exotic touch of peruvian sauce.
Hands down the best Peruvian food in Montreal! I've tasted different plates but the marina mixta & pan con chicharron were incredibly amazing, they are my personal favorites.
Other than that the atmosphere was cozy & the service was warm. 10/10 would recommend to anybody!
I wish I could give more stars I really wanted to enjoy our mother's day breakfast of pan con chicharon but they were severely understaffed. Food & coffee was lukewarm at best, service was definitely lacking & the TV that was playing music was 5 inches from our ears so we had a hard time hearing each other speak. Food was tasty but cold, the place itself was clean with some Peruvian decor. It is on the smaller side so I would recommend calling to reserve if you're set on eating there. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than we did.
