Takeout place. Very small & tight. As you walk in, you can smell the tea brewing. I ordered the milktea. It was delicious. You can really taste the tea. Good price for the high quality.View more

I had the taro king with green tea & honey osmanthus oolong with crystal boba. Liked the green tea but the boba was hard & taro a bit chunky still. It was hard to get through the straw. The osmanthus oolong tea flavor was masked by the crystal boba so didn't really get much tea flavor there. It is pricey & took awhile to come out as they brew the tea fresh & there were a couple of people ahead of me. Definitely don't recommend if you're in a rush. The shop is very small & it gets warm in there. Presentation is very cute. I'd probably come back for a different green tea but really wish the boba wasn't hard.View more

Takeout counter w minimal, chic decor. Reasonably priced, efficient service. I had the honey Osmanthus at 70% sugar, hot. Very good, not too sweet & they use real honey. My mom had the fruit tea loved it - & she is a picky eater & had been disappointed by other places fruit tea. Perfect if you're looking for a place serving bubble tea made from real ingredients.View more

the bubble tea here is brewed with fresh tea, as I entered the small shop you could smell the freshness of the tea, the bubbles were flavorful & not too soggy, had the honey osmanthus oolong tea with bubble, was very fresh will come back to try more flavors next time :)View more

Super cute with the little carrier twine! I had the joney flavored oolong with taro pearls & it was great, just to my taste. All bubble tea places & their flavors blur into one for me after a while, so outside of taste, I loved the speed & expediency here.View more

If you like bubble tea this is definitely one of the best places to get one! On the smaller size so it's only really for takeout, tea is made fresh on the spot with their fancy machine, really cute packaging. Definitely worth a quick stop by!View more

Since the closing of one of our favorite boba shops, we had been longing for bubble tea with the perfect chewiness. After trying Chicha Sanchen for the first time, it quickly became one of our favorite spots for boba ! I really enjoy their bubble tea! The tapiocas are perfectly cooked. However, I think they could improve by offering different drink sizes. Also, if they can keep the counter hair-free, that would be great. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.View more

That was one of the best & most intricate cup of bubble tea I have ever had. Had the regular bubble tea, but it was not plain. Cold flavorful tea, warm soft sweet tapioca. Very creamy the tea was very fresh. The cup was beautiful. The tea pourers very professional. Thank you! The only thing is the shop decor isn't cute & it's very small & the corner noisy.View more

No seating provided. It is a takeout shop with excellent quality bubble tea brew in front of your eyes with raw ingredients. The shop allows the customers to make orders tailored to personal taste & sweetness ( or sugarless) . This is a good selling point .View more

I asked for low sweetness & half tapioca & it was very sweet with a lot of tapioca who was very sweet as well. Very little tea in it & +++ ice. I could see there a limited quantity of tea which is too bad for the price we pay. My suggestions as they seems to have good quality tea & potential: -Tapioca is very too sweet, lower it; -If client ask for less tapioca or no tapioca, you should adjust quantity of tea accordindly as we are paying for it; -Too much ice isn't necessary, it will affect the experience & dilued the tea itself.... I am looking at new bubbleatea places since around 14 years in Montreal & I could see that so far it's the cie with more potential in terms of quality & experience, but few adjustements should be make to attract peoples who appreciated quality of tea.View more

So good! I would highly recommend the Taro Queen. It is fragrant & delicious. Wouldn't recommend the fruit tea as much, that was average. There's also no where to sit inside FYI Was gonna give 4/5 but bonus 1 star for sustainability, they allow you to bring your own cupView more

I don't know maybe I'm not a connoisseur...but I don't feel like it tasted any superior than other bubble tea places. It's was a good bubble tea. The location will get cute eventually, I guess. It's total construction zone at front. Service was slow-ish. They take their time to measure tea leaves & stuff. Presentation is cutesy. Will I go back?... if I'm in the neighborhood maybe. Thé de qualité pour un bubble tea qui ne ressemble pas à une boisson-dessert. Les perles de tapioca sont bien cuites, la texture est optimale. La gelée d'herbe était aussi bonne comme garniture. Nous avons goûté le thé vert & le thé ding dong oolong (les deux dans les choix de thés primés-awards). Le service est poli & efficace en arrière, mais la caissière ne semblait pas avoir d'énergie, dommage qu'elle n'a pas pris la peine de vérifier pour être sûre de comprendre ma commande en français même si j'ai pris soin de parler clairement & assez lentement & fort - erreur dans les deux commandes (peu sucre & peu glace devenu pas de sucre & pas de glace)... Bien ouvert & petite file d'achalandage malgré les travaux devant l'entrée, signe que le nom de la chaîne taiwanaise fait fureur.View more

I went to the chicha san chen bubble tea place in toronto & I became a fan of their bubble tea. I came back to montreal & tried the store here & I was extremely disappointed by their bubble tea. Montreal store should maintain the standard & quality of the bubble tea that chicha san chen is known for.View more

Wanted to try & see what the hype was about. The location is convenient as it's on the corner of St Laurent Blvd & Viger but it's a very small store & got crowded, so not an ideal place if you wanted to sit & have your bubble tea. It's perfect for takeout. The service was a bit slow & took a while to be served as the two people behind the counter weren't facing us & busy tidying up. I ordered the standard milk tea & didn't want to deviate too much. For the price, I found it a bit overpriced for the size you receive. It was fun to watch the tea being made in front of me & it was a nice option to choose the level of sweetness & ice. The bubbles were soft & sweet, & had just the right chewiness to it. The holder was cute but I felt it was a bit unstable so found it to be useless. Overall, my experience was average & not sure I'd return for the milk tea. I may go back to try the other flavors.View more

The milk tea was OK, I don't see the hype that says it's really good, considering it's not cheap. The bobas were a bit hard for my liking. I wish they were more chewy or soft. The formosa fruit tea is highly recommended- light, refreshing, & sweetened just right. The ambience is another story. Will I come back? Maybe I'll pass.View more
