Nick has been around for many years & it was fun to return for lunch. The place was crowded & quite noisy but sometimes that is fun. The waitresses were super friendly. The bench / table we sat in at the very back was so tight I was bumping knees with the person in front of me lol. Off to one side the kitchen door
swings open & closed almost hitting the table. It's all part of the fun! I had a cob salad & my boyfriend had the breakfast & it was all good.

C'est une institution à Westmount. Un véritable Diners plus que centenaire qui sert les grands classiques du brunch, salades variées & goûteuses sans oublier les bons sandwichs etc. Le personnel est charmant. La clientèle est surtout anglophone, mais rassurez-vous, ils peuvent aussi s'adresser à vous en français. Les employés sont chaleureux voir même amicaux sans s'incruster & le patron est toujours présent pour accueillir. Quand à l'ambiance, c'est la convivialité via différentes générations de riverains dans un décor typique de banquettes & de cuir. Ils n'ont pas besoin de publicité, car il y a toujours un peu d'attente à l'entrée. Bref, j'adore & je m'y rends souvent...

I enjoyed a vegan salad with sautéed veggies in it. It is also nice that you can have breakfast for dinner there. I like their healthier, less salty foods including some sandwiches. I would not bother with the dessert.

Chez Nick is a nice, cozy & small restaurant, perfect for brunch or lunch. Good was fine, & service was kind & quick.

I had the impression that something was missing in my salad, as if it was just too simple. Yet it was ok.

I also felt a little bit pushed to speak in English when I wanted to communicate in French.

After my first delivery, I was going to give it 5 stars. But now it is barely 4. My first delivery was for a chicken salad sandwich on kimmel & it was great. I also order the vegetarian sandwich & it was very pleasant: light & healthy. Today, I got the BLT which was dry & had no mayo (I added my own); it was OK but not great. I also got the clam chowder which was awful. Almost all potato & barely any taste of clam (at 13$). I still think their sandwiches have potential; will try again.

My Bf & I did Uber eats from here & I was very excited to try the clam chowder. Unfortunately it was lack lustre & tasted like it came out of a can. Very thick did not taste or look freshly made. We ordered the Greek salad & that too was not the best quality.
