J'ai commandé les escargots en entrée & ai commis l'erreur de les faire gratiner. Les escargots étaient complètement couverts, disparus sous la montagne d'un fromage relativement insipide (je crois une brique de mozzarella qu'on peut avoir à l'épicerie) & seul l'océan de beurre à l'ail perçait cette épaisse croute de fromage. On ne goutait (une fois trouvé !) pas l'escargot, tellement il y avait de beurre & de fromage. Comme plat principal, j'ai pris l'épaule de boeuf - demandé saignant, obtenu médium, certains morceaux tendaient sur le médium-bien cuit & certains sur le médium-saignant. Les légumes & la purée de betterave étaient très bons ainsi que la sauce au poivre. La personne avec moi a pris des mancini en entrée qui se défaisaient très facilement & manquaient de fromage & de cuisson pour le riz & son poulet - plat principal - était très sec. Pour les desserts, ce fut 0 en 2 : le brownie n'était ni moelleux ni fondant & comme un fudge mais plutôt sec & pâteux. Le flan au caramel n'était pas crémeux & uniforme mais goûtait carrément l'oeuf (à m'en rappeler les tartelettes aux oeufs de Hong Kong) mais se défaisait en particules un peu comme manger des oeufs brouillés.

Très décus de l'expérience, surtout pour le prix. Le personnel était accueillant & les autres clients étaient très sympathiques - bonne ambiance.

C'était bon mais la portion légume & patate était froide, même après avoir repris le plat, c'était encore tiède. Le reste était délicieux.

We had a wonderful time. The round table made for lively conversation from everyone. The service & setting were excellent. Above all, the food was fabulous. Even the simple pasta dish whipped up for my fussy-eater vegetarian daughter was remarkably delicious. Prices very reasonable. We are locals (weekenders) with children who don't get out often: the last time we ate here was during the great power failure a few years ago. But every time we come, we walk away saying to ourselves "We must do this more often." HIghly recommended.
