We ordered beef cheek & duck parfait, onion soup croquettes, & a lobster flavoured soup.
We liked all of it, but duck Parfait was all of our favorites.
Our waiter David was informative, patient, attentive. All in all it was a great experience.
The food was fantastic! The lobster bisque was a bit too strong, but the beef cheek was amazing. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend the beef cheek main dish. The chicken dish was also great. The service was excellent, & the atmosphere was fine.
Had an excellent dinner to celebrate the end of our conference. The lobster bisque was excellent, but surpassed by far by the beef cheek. I wish they had a broader selection of beers on tap, but the red ale was quite nice.
Best thing on the menu is the Beef Bourguignon! It was delicious !! The crème brûlée was also a very good choice for dessert .We sat at the bar & our waiter was amazing! He was super friendly & knowledgeable. The manager was very polite & friendly as well. I was not a fan of the fried calamari & would have enjoyed softer , warmer bread , but had a nice experience!
Went for lunch on December 23rd. The price was $42 for 3 course lunch & it was phenomenal.
For appetizers, we got the lobster bisque & beef tartare. Bisque was nice & beef tartare was a fun experience to eat. Would probably order something else for it since it was out top choice in term of taste but it was a fun experience.
Main entree was duck confit & the chicken Dijon. Both were amazing. The duck confit was tender & skin was crispy. The other ingredients in the dish was delicious. The chicken Dijon was creamy & flavourful. Highly recommend these two dishes.
Dessert was fresh & light. Not too sweet. It had raspberry, vanilla cream & sponge cake. It was the dessert of the day so others might get something different.
Service was great & they were kind & it didn't felt weird for us to eat there while wearing sweat pants. We definitely had people looking at us, might be because of what we wore.
The bread they gave as a complimentary was hard & not really fresh(it felt it was out for a bit too long) but the butter with it was good.
OMG. The beef cheek bourginon is the best. I had to have it a second evening here
Excellent food & great chef Guillaume ( beef Bourguignon, turbo fish, fried calamari were all 10/10),
friendly service
But 4 weak points:
- The bread was served cold
- There are no table cloth( it should be added in the evening to give it the class it deserves, but still stay casual during the day)
- The huge ribeye steak that can only be served for two. It should be also offered for one person( if it can be eaten, it can be cut in half!)
- desserts are average at best
Service & ambience are very nice. Problem is the food. My wife had sole meuniere that was pan fried & drowning in oil & butter to the point where the breading was drenched, with no vegetables whatsoever other than greasy fingerling potatoes. I had the classic burger, with beef, I think. Frankly not sure. Served with Fries for 4 people. Waiter very professional. We did not complain because the service was excellent.
Love their césar salad, duck breast & beef tartare! The ambiance was really nice (we went friday night around 9pm).
