I went to for brunch for the first time in this café. It was nicely set up & there was even the option to sit outside. I had the Portuguese breakfast plate with salad & Portuguese toast & a hot chocolate. All the food was extremely good, but the only thing I was not satisfied with was that the sliced sausages were too salty for me. Other than that it is a nice cafe where they have a lot of variety in food for a decent price.Voir plus

Unbelievable place! Everyone should go here! The food was some of the best we've had the whole trip here & our server Will made our entire night! Stunning service & such a friendly personality! I highly recommend ANY of the meal crepes, especially the chorizo, & there's plenty of vegetarian & vegan options as well. Go here for a super eclectic & fun vibe with phenomenal food!Voir plus

J'ai passé un excellent moment sur la terrasse de Chez José. Leur menu est bon & abordable : j'ai pris le petit déjeuner portugais & c'était délicieux ! Notre serveuse était super gentille, & ils nous ont rapidement trouvé une place sur leur terrasse, située sur la rue piétonne, ce qui a vraiment ajouté à l'expérience. Un incontournable !Voir plus

We went to this place because Duluth has been pedestrianized for the summer & sitting at a terrace enables us to go out to eat with our dog. We chose Chez Jose at random & it was a good choice. I usually don't care for calamari as I find it too tough, but in their seafood soup it was perfect. My wife had a crepe with turkey, cream sauce & blue cheese that was delicious. I had a warm nata for dessert & we both had Portuguese coffees. & our waitress was excellent, really on the ball.Voir plus

It's been a while since I sat down for a coffee & pastry. I hiked Mont Royal Parc & went down to Cafe Chez Jose. I ordered the Pastel de Nata - Famous Portuguese Custard Tarts & a cappuccino. The girl suggested that I have them heated. Wow. With cinnamon, it's five stars, I tell you. Coupled with their delicious cappuccino, I was very happy.Voir plus

My boyfriend & I were visiting the City & we were just searching for places to eat brunch, & Cafe Jose came across. & google reviews didn't disappoint. My boyfriend had the Portuguese Breakfast & I had Mexican Crepe breakfast if I'm not mistaken & it was soooo goood & fulfilling. & we had egg tart for dessert, & I had mokkachino.
