If you're craving authentic Persian fast food, Hailar is the place to go. Their hot sandwiches are super tasty & made with really good ingredients. The Bandari sandwich is my absolute favorite. Highly recommend!
Chez Hailer is a Persian fast food spot in Montreal that serves a wide variety of Persian-style pizzas along with hot & cold sandwiches. They're currently renovating the downstairs, but you can sit upstairs where Persian music fills the space & gives it a cozy, home-like vibe. The décor upstairs feels different from downstairs, & there's no reception at the moment because of the renovations.
The food quality was great - fresh, flavorful, & delicious. One thing I really liked is that you can order sandwiches in either 7-inch or 14-inch sizes. The pizza crust is super thin, which makes it light & easy to enjoy. Totally recommend!
Had lunch here & it was amazing. I had a pizza with Persian sausage & others on my table had different types of sandwiches. Every single order was delicious. On top of it all, Romina's service was so attentive & kind & the space was clean with a nice ambiance.
This is a little fantastic gem on sherbrooke street in montreal. Great sandwiches, excellent pizzas, delicious salads. We had the roast beef sandwich, sausage sandwich, & a bandari sandwich, we also had a supreme pizza & a sausage pizza. All the flavors were sublime. In the sandwich the hint of parsley was exquisite!
Romina our server was pleasant & very informed. We will surely return & we highly recommend a visit.
I tried the roast beef sandwich & I absolutely loved it😋.The meat was juicy & full of flavor, the bread was fresh, & the portion size was just perfect. It's definitely one of the best roast beef sandwiches I have had in Montreal. Highly recommend👌🏻

Ordered on Uber eats the cheese pizza. One of the best cheese pulls I've ever seen, very soft crust, delicious. Not a huge fan of the sauce they give on the side though but I'm now definitely intrigued by the sandwiches, although the food is a bit expensive

I went when it was totally empty because it's Ramadan but the atmosphere is relaxed. The place looks like a fancy coffee shop. The food is a bit expensive (what isn't nowadays lol) but I think it's totally worth to try at least once. I got the roast beef & hot cheese bomb sandwiches 🤤
Sadly the only thing is that it's not very accessible; you gotta climb two flights of stairs. If you're able-bodied definitely check this place out; you won't regret it.

Iranian restaurants are often chosen more for nostalgic flavors than for broad appeal. However, when we entered this one, we were warmly welcomed. Upstairs, a cozy & inviting ambiance awaited us. Their fries were good but fairly standard, yet their pizzas & sandwiches were truly exceptional. The toasted bread elevated the flavors even more. The hospitality was delightful-the staff checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed while still respecting our privacy. I highly recommend this place!

Les restaurants iraniens sont souvent choisis davantage pour leurs saveurs nostalgiques que pour leur attrait général. Cependant, dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. À l'étage, une ambiance cosy & accueillante nous attendait. Leurs frites étaient bonnes mais classiques, tandis que leurs pizzas & sandwiches étaient vraiment excellents. Le pain grillé sublimait encore plus les saveurs. L'hospitalité était agréable : le personnel veillait à ce que nous ne manquions de rien tout en respectant notre intimité. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
