Je suis tombé par hasard sur cette sandwicherie au centre-ville car j'avais une envie pressant d'uriner. J'étais un peu sceptique car c'était la première fois. Mais honnêtement, they made my day. Le sandwich était excellent: emballage fancy, pain très frais, la sauce assez pour faciliter la mastication, les légumes frais, & la viande très tendre. Le smoothie pistachio & avocat est définitivement la cerise sur le gâteau. Il doit sûrement être un best seller 😍 Trop onctueux & trop délicieux. En plus, l'équipe est très chaleureux & l'environnement propre & calme. Je compte refaire cette expérience mais avec la famille & les amis. Trop hâte d'amener ma femme aussi, elle va capoter. Merci de cette expérience exceptionnelle

I really wanted to love this place because Persian sandwiches can be amazing, but it was disappointing overall. The roast beef sandwich was overloaded with sauce to the point where it completely overpowered everything else, & the sausage quality tasted pretty cheap for the price. I was expecting fresher ingredients & more balanced flavors. The portions were decent, but the quality just didn't match the hype. Hoping they improve because the concept has a lot of potential.
I highly recommend Chez Hailar! Their pizzas & hot sandwiches/subs are awesome! The ingredient combinations are perfectly balanced & full of flavor. 🔥 The salads are always fresh, & sauces are absolutely delicious. It's definitely a go-to spot for great pizza in downtown Montreal!

We had such a wonderful experience at Hailar in Montreal! We went as a large group of about 15-20 people, & they absolutely nailed it! The food was delicious-we tried both pizza & sandwiches, & everything was fresh & flavorful. Despite our large group, the service was fast, & the staff was super friendly. They even surprised us with complimentary fries & salad, plus they made our little one's day by bringing orange juice & ice cream-on the house! It's a welcoming, family-friendly spot with great vibes. We'll definitely be back!

Update 2026: their menu gets better every year. Now they have this roast beef bomb pizza which is amazing!!

We where there last night, we ordered 2full sandwiches & 2 half
When we received our orders, we saw instead of 2 full sandwiches, they brought us 2 pizzas!
While when the server repeated our orders, she said pizzas but I said no Sandwiches!!!
When we saw the pizzas we accepted one & returned one!
Because we decided to prevent food waste, while we ordered sandwiches in return!
When we received our bills we saw the price of pizza is there which is more expensive compared to the sandwich!
The thing I expected was, because of serving mistake, we had the price of sandwich which we had ordered from very beginning!
Additionally, we didn't receive any suggestions for not paying the tip!!
The difference between the price of pizza & sandwich isn't matter but I really disappointed about the customer service!
