Iranian restaurants are often chosen more for nostalgic flavors than for broad appeal. However, when we entered this one, we were warmly welcomed. Upstairs, a cozy & inviting ambiance awaited us. Their fries were good but fairly standard, yet their pizzas & sandwiches were truly exceptional. The toasted bread elevated the flavors even more. The hospitality was delightful-the staff checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed while still respecting our privacy. I highly recommend this place!

Les restaurants iraniens sont souvent choisis davantage pour leurs saveurs nostalgiques que pour leur attrait général. Cependant, dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. À l'étage, une ambiance cosy & accueillante nous attendait. Leurs frites étaient bonnes mais classiques, tandis que leurs pizzas & sandwiches étaient vraiment excellents. Le pain grillé sublimait encore plus les saveurs. L'hospitalité était agréable : le personnel veillait à ce que nous ne manquions de rien tout en respectant notre intimité. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
It's a restaurant with a special something that you may not have tasted elsewhere. Forget what you've eaten or the flavors you know. At Hailar, it's the best of what I've tasted in Montreal. I can't stop eating their food.

The food is absolutely delicious, especially the bread used for the pizza & sandwiches-crispy, smooth, & incredibly flavorful. You have to try it to truly appreciate the taste! The environment is lovely, & the staff are polite & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
I tried the 14" Hot Hailar Roast Beef Sandwich. The beef was tender & flavorful, perfectly complemented by the fresh, crunchy bread. The parsley & the sauce added a unique twist, making each bite delightful. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, with friendly & attentive staff providing excellent service.
I had an unforgettable night at this restaurant; I had a great time & enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere was very cozy & pleasant. The staff was very friendly, & I had an incredibly delicious sandwich. I recommend visiting this place if you're looking to try a unique & very tasty flavor. Especially if you're craving Iranian-style sausage, cold cuts, or Iranian-style pizza, this place will definitely satisfy you.

We had a fantastic experience at Chez Hailar! The food was delicious, with excellent flavor & very reasonable prices. Even though the place was extremely busy, the staff were incredibly polite, patient, & attentive. They managed everything with a smile & made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food & a welcoming atmosphere!

Hilar Chez Pizza in Montreal is an absolute gem! We tried their special pizza & nachos, & they were so delicious that we couldn't resist ordering another one to go. The flavors were spot on, & everything was perfectly cooked. We were thrilled to find out that they sometimes have special offers like "buy one, get one free" - a fantastic deal! The food, the service, & the overall experience were top-notch. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Montreal!
I recently tried two pizzas, & both delivered in taste & quality! I suggest the roast beef pizza to those who love a hearty, meaty pizza. Pepperoni Pizza is ideal for traditionalists who want that classic pizza flavor. I can say both pizzas were fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back !
Ordered for delivery, & food was still fresh & hot & not soggy. Got the mini Hailar special pizza, & it was quite mini (7"). Tasted good 😋, thin crust, not too salty the ingredients but I find it lack flavors overall (8.5/10). Got the 14" Hot Bomb Cheese Sandwich & WOW, worth the price of this huge sandwich. Tasted delicious, fresh ingredients, good flavors, & will fill your tummy 😋 (9/10) !! The only con, there's too much of their Hailar special sauce. Taste good, but it will drip all over you. Overall, I'll recommend this place to everyone & be prepared to share your food because you'll get huge portions for the money !!

Incredible restaurant, I ordered the hot pizza sandwich & I can say it completely exceeded my high expectations. The bread was crisp & hot, as it blended the flavors of the meat & sauces beautifully. Would 100 percent recommend. 👍

Visited THE ONLY PERSIAN STYLE FAST FOOD into Montréal & it was out of this world. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. The staff was super friendly & gave me special tea & baklava cause i was from toronto . & the place is in the heart of downtown in a very cozy spot where you can spend quality time enjoying their food & view. In comparison to Toronto fast food, which i tried most of them, this one wins the taste battle, & without having a huge portion or lots of cheese, you get flavor & taste. Great job to the business owner for putting this nice spot on the map. 🙌
