Great overall dining experience. Chez Greenberg offers a really nice balance between quality food & a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is well thought out, with flavorful dishes that feel fresh & carefully prepared, & you can tell attention is given to both taste & presentation. The portions are satisfying without being overwhelming, & the pricing feels fair for the level of quality you get. The staff are friendly & attentive, creating a comfortable environment from the moment you walk in, although service can slow down slightly during busier times. The space itself is clean, cozy, & enjoyable for both casual meals & small gatherings. Overall, a solid spot with great food & a good vibe, definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

What an incredible addition to the montreal food scene.
Was able to try this place out soon after it opened, staff was so kind, vibe was great & design so cool. Best lox bagel ive had in the city, & ive tried many!
Today, i ordered on uber eats- im recovering from surgery & was so happy to see this place on there.Food was incredibly fresh still & delicious. Tried the Larry ( best of both worlds- love that option!) trying white fish for the first time. Easy to try something new when everything there is always so tasty.
On top of that, Jake left the sweetest message on my bag.

I literally can't say anything bad about this place! To start off with, the food was IMPECCABLE! The quality of every ingredient is so present. Secondly, the coffee was fantastic. I have no idea where they get their roast/if it's homemade, but my double long espresso was absolutely delicious. Lastly, the owner was so friendly, & the vibes of the entire spot were great! I would recommend this place to anyone! I definitely will be coming back. The white fish salad was something new to me, & I would highly recommend it as well!
What's crazy to me is that something like this hasn't been open in the mile end for the last 80 years. This is exactly what our neighbourhood needed & just couldn't have been executed any better. The staff is incredibly friendly, the cooks are outstanding, & the vibes are, as the kids might say, immaculate. Not to mention that there are at least two Jakes. Our dog Earl also approves. Highly recommend for locals & visitors alike.
Delicious smoked salmon bagel with the crispy shredded potatoes. Excellent espressos. Lovely vibes. I've also ordered delivery, & it was likewise amazing.
I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, the place has such a charming & welcoming vibe - but the real magic happens once you try their lox. Hands down, the best I've ever had. Perfectly sliced, delicate, flavorful, & melt-in-your-mouth fresh - it's absolutely unforgettable.
The terrace is stunning too with their flowers outside.
A huge thank you to Jake, the owner, who is truly a caring & kind person. His passion for quality & his warm hospitality really shine through in every detail. This place is a gem - I'll be back!

Great vibes! Great food! Great coffee. What more can you ask for? Come for the bagels. Stay for the schmear. (Did I just create a t-shirt??) Jake & his team will go out of their way to welcome you with open arms. A definite must-visit if you're even the slightest bit curious about this restaurant.
It's unlike any bagel lox & cream cheese you've ever had! Every aspect is elevated with the smoked salmon, the lemon shmear &'shmutz'… you need to try it! The coffee & the poutine knishes are also a must! Oh & the VIBES!!
Lovely Jewish experience! The lox is out of this world. Staff was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. The vibes & atmosphere are so homely & proudly Jewish which I loved. Also the knishes are top notch. & the babka was SO good. Can't wait to be back soon!
