We went to Restaurant Devi for the paratha buffet & it was outstanding. The food was delicious, especially the Aloo Paratha & Meetha Paratha, both a solid 10/10. The chai & gulab jamun were great as well. Excellent service by Sagar made the experience even better. Highly recommended.
We came in for the New Year's Eve buffet & we had wonderful time ! We left full & in a great mood :) The food is amazing, meat perfectly cooked & falls apart under your knife. Amy, our waitress, was a delight to have around she truely made the night special ! 100% recommend.
This was my very first time trying Indian food in Montreal, & I was honestly blown away. The restaurant is halal, tucked upstairs, & has a cozy vibe with dim lighting, perfect for a date night or just hanging out with friends.
We ordered the jumbo mixed grill, which came with salmon tikka, tandoori shrimp, kebabs, lamb, & chicken. Everything was full of flavor, but the lamb was especially tender & just melted in my mouth.
The chicken tikka masala was the star of the night. The sauce was rich, creamy, & perfectly seasoned , dipping the garlic bread into it was pure heaven.
I'm surprised this place isn't talked about more because the food & atmosphere are both amazing. Definitely a halal gem in Montreal that deserves way more hype. Highly recommend checking it out!
What an amazing spot! Our Indian friend recommend us the place as the go to for real & tasty Indian food! & we were not disappointed. Service was super nice & efficient. Food was tasty & delicious & fresh. I love every bite of it & would totally go back! I recommend this place to everyone who wants a real taste of Indian food! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine warmth & hospitality that immediately set the tone for a wonderful evening. The ambiance was inviting elegant yet cozy, filled with the aroma of rich Indian spices that hinted at the culinary delights to come.

J'ai décidé d'essayer le Dévi à la recommandation d'une collègue de travail. L'agneau vindaloo que J'ai commandé est un des meilleurs que j'ai mangé à Montréal, épicé à souhait & goûteux! J'ai accompagné le tout avec un Naan & un bol de riz. Excellent restaurant de cuisine indienne sur Crescent que je recommande fortement.
"Ordered chole bhature & kulcha. Kulcha was okay, but the bhature tasted stale, like it was days old. I had recommended this place to a friend after a good past experience, but this time was really disappointing. I hope they work on serving fresher food."

The food & service were great. We opted to order off the menu as there were more authentic options. The food was delicious, portions were more than enough & the service was perfect. We also ordered a recommended appetizer, the fried okra. It's was like eating Indian spiced fries - delicious. Another thing, we were there during Grand Prix, & I didn't feel they took advantage of us like other restaurants that have a separate Grand Prix menu which is really just +15% regular price. I highly recommended Devi next time you're in the area.
