We had a very nice lunch at Chez Delmo. One thing I really appreciated was that they asked about food allergies as soon as we were seated, which made us feel more comfortable ordering seafood.

The oysters were fresh & delicious overall, although unfortunately we did get one bad that tasted quite unpleasant. We mentioned it to the manager, he handled the situation very nicely & brought us another oysters. We really appreciated the way they responded.

We also tried the tuna, which was very good, & the salmon with the $6 upgrade was a nice choice as well.

Overall, the food was enjoyable, the service was attentive, & even though there was a small issue with one oyster, the way it was handled left us with a good impression. Definitely a restaurant we would come back to.

The service was adequate, could have been more attentive. The food was very bland & overcooked. For the price, the food was extremely dissapointing. There is very minimal atmosphere, they could benefit from a little music, or a little louder. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

We had a great dinner at Chez Delmo. The steak tartare was excellent-fresh, well seasoned, & one of the best I've had. The calamari was also perfectly cooked & a great starter. They have a good wine list with plenty of options, & the staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel welcome throughout the evening. Would definitely come back.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a wonderful friend. I am visiting with my father for the Grand Prix weekend & this was a fantastic way to start the trip. Chez Delmo has impeccable seafood, service, & atmosphere. The location is perfectly situated in Old Montreal. Clement & all of the staff were very attentive & kind. The warm vanilla cake with maple syrup was the best way to end the night (plus some tiramisu as well). I would recommend this restaurant to any & everyone!

A special thank you to our hosts, Mandgou & Cedric, whose service was nothing short of outstanding. Their attentiveness, knowledge, & genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. Mandgou's recommendations were spot-on & added a thoughtful, personalized touch to our meal.
Every detail was handled with care, making this an experience we won't soon forget. If you're looking for exquisite food paired with top-tier service, this is absolutely a place to visit. Highly recommended.

I visit Montreal twice a year & despite all the choices in restaurants, I always go to Chez Delmo in Old Montreal. We never thought we could replicate the awesome experience we had 3 years ago but each time we go there, they blow us away with their service & quality of food. Last Night Alex our waiter & the support staff were amazing. Very professional, attentive & polite. It's always a pleasure to talk to the owners as well. p.s. the beef tartare & the mushroom ravioli were outstanding.

Everything about Chez Delmo is exactly what you'd hope for in a top-notch spot in Old Montreal. The moment you walk in, you feel the perfect blend of modern style with a touch of historic charm, it's classy without being stuffy.

We kicked things off with the Clam Chowder & a Shrimp Cocktail. Both were fresh, flavorful, & a great start to the meal. For the mains, we went with the Seafood Linguine & the Dover Sole, & honestly, both were outstanding. The flavours were clean & well balanced, & you could tell the ingredients were top quality.

The service really stood out too friendly, attentive, & never rushed. The partnership in which the owners present themselves matches the restaurant's brand.

Overall, Chez Delmo gave us one of those dining experiences where everything just works, & works well. Great food, great service, & a setting that makes the evening feel special. It's definitely a place we'd go back to & recommend to anyone visiting Old Montreal.
