a true gem.

is this the best pizza ever? not quite… but not everything needs to be'the best you ever had'. in fact, if everything was'the best you ever had', then nothing would be'the best you ever had'.

why 5 stars, then? because chez dany pizza is exactly what pizza should be. dough, sauce & cheese. & chez dany does those three things just fine. crust is nice n crispy, cheese is cheesy & the sauce is… well, it's saucy.

chez dany makes an alright pizza, & sometimes, alright is what you need.

I'm not sure how to even describe this. It looks like pizza. It's crispy. It tastes like the dough has been infused with butter. It appears that it has sauce but I really can't taste it. If this was in NY or NJ it would be an abomination but I'm in Montreal & the people are so nice plus they are open until 4AM so I had to give them 2 charitable stars for trying.

Fresh sliced pizza! You see the guy in the window make his dough, so cool! The cheese as well as pepperoni is my favorite. The pizza dough tastes a little sweet. Small spot but great discovery !
