The staff here are lovely & the portions are very generous despite being labelled'small'. I really enjoyed the New York poutine with the hot sauce incorporated. My only critique is the cheese curds were kind of rubbery.

Noone else in the restaurant ordered a couple of poutines. There was so much hype online about the place & truth is i tried about 8 poutines in montreal & ruebens has been the only good one. So i made the trip all the way to chez claudette in hopes of a great poutine.
Unfortunately the fries were barely cooked, gravy was ok, & not alot of cheese at all. I understand if it was busy but we were the only ones there. Will not be back

We had the American & the classic, both were equally fantastic. The interior was super charming & cozy giving very family oriented feel. Our server was fabulous coming from out of town she took care of us & took the time to explain the different poutines. 10 out of 10 This place did not disappoint.

This was an excellent excellent experience. We stopped by for lunch on our way out of Mtl & had the best time grabbing brunch here. There were 3 of us including a toddler. They didnt have high chairs however we got seated at a spacious booth style seating. The staff were gems! They were so sweet & kind to us. They were sweet with my child & it made our time here comfortable. The food was so tasty, this is the best poutine ive ever eaten. The fries were crispy, & we got a regular petit dejouner as well as a classique poutine avec peas & sautéed onions. Just fantastic. We got over medium eggs & they were cooked to perfection. Magnificent!!!

Ça fait fait plusieurs fois que je vais à ce resto & à chaque fois, c'est formidable. La poutine est exquise, même au point que c'est la seule chose que j'ai mangé sur le menu. Le service est formidable, avec des serveuses super sympathique & un cuisinier sans pareil! Les service est très rapide & la qualité prix est exceptionnelle. Cette institution est tout simplement un incontournable à Montréal. Je vous le conseille fortement!!!

Chez Claudette is truly one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Montréal. The food is consistently excellent, the staff are warm & genuinely welcoming, & the atmosphere always feels relaxed & inviting.
It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you can sit back, enjoy your meal, & really appreciate the moment. The clientele is eclectic & diverse, which adds to the charm, & everything about the place just feels effortlessly'good & chill.'
I absolutely love the food there...every visit reminds me why I keep coming back.
