Saw this place on You Got To Eat Here. The poutine was worth the travel to get there. Its a diner experience. We took the metro & got off at the Laurier stop. Honestly one of the better meals we had in Montreal. They need to get beer back on the menu & ice for their water, especially on a hot summer day. If they had those two items would have given them a 5. Our waitress was friendly & the food came out quick.

On dit que le restaurant chez Claudette n'est connu que des gens du quartier. C'est totalement faux ! c'est une institution à peine arrivé à Montréal je parle de poutine on me dit "chez Claudette !!!" Effectivement : choix, qualité des produits, service ultra sympathique,mais pas de chichi dans la salle, table classique chaise classique & c'est parti ON SE RÉGALE !
I came here at the recommenion of some local friends & I totally loved it. Very nice ambiance & service. The menu has so many choices but their star dishes are the poutines. I took the Celine ones & they were very good. My advice is to take the small portion beacuse it is enough to feed a person no matter how hungry they are.
Un peu déçu qu'ils ouvrent plus tard maintenant pour les déjeuners mais quand j'arrive a tenir jusqu'à 11 heures je suis toujours très heureux d'y avoir été. Ya rien comme un bon déjeuner du Claudette ! Hésitez pas a prendre la crêpe en extra, elle est excellente!

Restaurant réputé sur Montréal & qui nous a été recommandé. Des portions bien généreuse & bien fat. Les frites ne sont pas maison!! L'intérieur du restaurant reste à désirer, les tables sont pas très propres. Sans avoir été recommandé je ne m'y serais pas arrêtée.
Une institution à Montréal, les portions sont généreuses & la carte est très fournie. En revanche, la décoration intérieur & l'odeur à l'intérieur est à revoir. Nous avons manger en extérieur & on a bien eu raison. Mais sinon le restaurant vaut le détour & le coup de fourchette. On a même pas mangé la moitié & on en a remanger le lendemain :)

Let me start by saying , Bob was great & service was amazing, BUT, good wise, not the greatest, sitting outside on the balcony in the rear, AC's HOT air was blowing & it was a sauna, very uncomfortable to a point that you just want to devour your food & leave, DO NOT go on a hot day. So coming to the burger, 🍔 the bread was old & smelled funny, meat was good. Putin wasn't the greatest but its edible, I'm not being rude, I'm just laying it as is to not have high hopes, its average Quebec food . Again, service was great, if not from the 2 servers , we would have walked away. I would have given 3 stars but just for Bob & the service I'm giving 4 ⭐️
