Pleasantly surprised with this fun American menu. Mostly authentic & quite delicious. Pea soup as a starter was especially fantastic. & thanks to Bastien for taking good care of us. We've dined a couple times times at Chez Alexandre during our visit & truly love it. Well done.View more

Nous avons brunché chez Alexandre à l'occasion de MTL à table, mais l'expérience nous a laissées sur notre faim. Les portions étaient vraiment petites, malgré des plats savoureux & bien travaillés. Nous avons aussi commandé un mimosa sans savoir qu'il n'était pas à la carte. Résultat : un verre de bulles facturé 27 $, le mimosa le plus cher de ma vie ! Nous aurions aimé être informées avant de commander, car nous aurions choisi autre chose. L'ambiance bistro est charmante, avec une touche parisienne, & le personnel est sympathique.View more

Vraie belle brasserie parisienne. L'ambiance est agréable (même si les voisins de table étaient particulièrement bruyants). L'accueil est particulièrement chaleureux & le service impeccable. J'aurais aimé que mon hamburger soit mieux épicé. Le seul bémol c'est la forte odeur de tabac qui traverse l'étage "Fumeur" & se diffuse dans l'ensemble du restaurant.View more

The design here is one of the best parts. The staff are also great. Looking around, the place seems like a spot for older crowds. Or where you take your parents if in town. Or for a fancy cocktail date, maybe. I came for just a coffee & they didn't have plant based milks for a latte. Luckily they had decaf.View more

Nice place for a drink, but I'd skip the food. Far too expensive for what you get, we were disappointed. Our waiter was not very attentive to the table. Thzt said, the place has a nice atmosphere.View more

It's an old restaurant, so the dishes & cutlery are a bit old. The server was friendly, & the food was good in taste & quantity for the price. However, the tables & other equipment were very old, so I wouldn't go there if I were inviting business guests. It's just good for a casual meal with friends.View more
