I would have given 5 star if the fries were good. We left all of our fries on the plates for both of our meals unfortunately. Other then that the sandwiches were both tasty, the french onion soup was ok, wouldn't order it again. Stick to the smoked meat folks.Voir plus

Nostalgia. Grew up off Gouin. Used to be a family haunt for us. When we moved from Montreal to Ottawa....it was the last meal we had. 30 years later, my mom, my partner etc...still take the trip for Smoked Meat. Worth it. Never change!Voir plus

Walked in to buy smoked meat. Didn't stay to eat. Atmosphere is one that take you back alittle bit. Service was good at the time. Their smoked meat are comparable to that of others around but this was in & around our areaVoir plus

Me & my wife went to chenoy at st jean yesterday on Saturday & its been a long time since i last visited. The smoke meat was the same as it used to be long ago & we were served by a young guy named vivian or viv i think. He took care of us & was really impressed how professional & nice he was to us. Nous arrivons du restaurant & sommes extrêmement déçu... Le smoke meat semblait presque cru & d'une couleur rosée inquiétante. Il y avait plus d'un an que nous y avions été & nous n'y retournerons plus. Privilégiez une autre chaîne ou une autre succursale, conseil d'une amie. As a young adult, Chenoy's was one of the only restaurants that was open late, or 24/7. After clubbing, it was the place to go & grab a bite before heading home. That was some time ago, & it hasn't changed. The old-fashioned smoke meat is exactly the same. Served warm on rye bread with yellow mustard. I ordered the combo, so the sandwich plate had fries, coleslaw, & a crunchy pickle. To be honest, the meal was very good except for the fries. They weren't quite cooked enough. The inside & outside were cold & limp. Not the best. We did enjoy our lunch. Service was quick, so it's the perfect place to go for a business/work lunch hour.Voir plus
