Chenoy's is described as a classic Montreal smoked meat deli with a nostalgic old school vibe, where generous portions, a reliable smoked meat experience, and friendly service meet in a setting felt to be timeless and comfortable for groups and families, with ample parking and approachable prices. Many reviews praise the juicy, well seasoned smoked meat, big plates, and a menu that has something for everyone, along with solid breakfast options and a welcoming interior that evokes a true Montreal deli atmosphere. The interior is repeatedly praised as charming and nostalgic, while the service is often highlighted as attentive and helpful. Some feedback notes inconsistencies, including lean cuts with little flavor, fries that are underwhelming, and desserts like cheesecake that can be dry, as well as occasional delays or communication gaps. Overall, Chenoy's remains a West Island staple for those seeking the classic deli experience and a sense of tradition, backed by loyal regulars who keep returning despite the occasional flaw.
We went to Chenoy's this afternoon. We had top service by your Sara Feldman. We have gone many times before. But she is exceptionally great. Thank you Sara Kohar K.
We went to Chenoys for a little coffee & a light meal. The food was good & the service was excellent! Sara was so kind & accommodating. We'll be back for sure! :)
Expensive.. Disappointment. $29 + tip.. for a handful of soggy fries, & a poorly sliced jumbo sandwich. Bread was soaked, fries undercooked & small portion. This place has lost a step. Pu Jamais..!
As a young adult, Chenoy's was one of the only restaurants that was open late, or 24/7. After clubbing, it was the place to go & grab a bite before heading home. That was some time ago, & it hasn't changed. The old-fashioned smoke meat is exactly the same. Served warm on rye bread with yellow mustard. I ordered the combo, so the sandwich plate had fries, coleslaw, & a crunchy pickle. To be honest, the meal was very good except for the fries. They weren't quite cooked enough. The inside & outside were cold & limp. Not the best. We did enjoy our lunch. Service was quick, so it's the perfect place to go for a business/work lunch hour.

We came here as a family. My parents grew up in this area & my dad used to frequent this place as a teenager. The food was great & the staff were friendly. Will 100 percent be back whenever I visit this area again.
This place has been opened as far as I can remember. Growing up in the West Island it was always a favorite spot to go to & still is now. Amazing staff & food for a great price.

Great place. Hasn't changed since the 80's. But still great. The only thing I could offer them in terms of improvement - slice the smoked meat thinner. This is a personal preference as the smoked meat was delicious.
