This is actually a hard review to write, since I have eaten here many times before & have always been very happy with the food & service.
Today, unfortunately that did not happen.
While at a friend's house on the West Island , I convinced her to try this great vegan restaurant for the first time. We then placed an order through Uber Eats for two salads. My friend has a severe food sensitivity to cabbage, so I requested no cabbage. We also wanted them not to get include the quinoa which comes with the salad, since we both don't like quinoa.
Sounds like a pretty tame request for a restaurant to respect & accommodate a customer.
Instead my order is cancelled by them on the app & when I called to inquire , I was told unapologetically by quite a rude person that'You are asking for too much' & they don't want to do it.
Seriously? This is obviously a restaurant that doesn't care about food sensitivities & I suppose also allergies!
Not only have they lost my business but also my friend's as well & anyone else I will speak to in the Vegan community about this sorry performance.
Shame on you!

This restaurant is incredible. Not only is their menu absolutely delicious but their service is impeccable. They have the best gluten-free vegan pizza you can get at a restaurant in this region. They have a huge selection of sweet treats as well as savory food. The staff go above & beyond. It's worth traveling all the way to Montreal. Their prices are very reasonable compared to some vegan gluten-free bakeries that are way overpriced.

I called to place an order 20 minutes before closing, & the person on the phone , only to be met with a vicious, unprovoked verbal assault as if I had committed a crime by calling during their posted hours. If you don't want to serve customers that close to closing, just say'no' upfront don't say'yes,' take my info, & then unleash a torrent of insults, & degradation on me for simply trying to give you my business. There is absolutely no excuse for that level of unprofessionalism & cruelty, especially when you are still open unt. Save your money & your dignityorder from literally anywhere else, because this place clearly has zero respect for basic human decency & management evidently doesn't care one bit. I will never return, & I strongly urge everyone else to stay far away.

I had a poor experience here & left an honest 1-star review. Next day, the owner called me 5 times from a'No Caller ID' number. During those calls, they used threatening language & verbally berated me for my review. I have not answered further calls & have reported this harassment to the appropriate platforms.

I would caution anyone dining here to be aware of how this business treats customers who leave honest feedback. Completely unprofessional & unacceptable behavior.

I love this place! The food is so good & fresh. Their desserts are so amazing & guilt free. I think it was the chocolate pecan cookies that I got & they were so good & soft, without all the artificial ingredients. Great service too, I highly recommend!

I had the vegan hotdog that came with the quinoa salad & a matcha.
The hotdog was way too big & I didn't enjoy the taste, the quinoa salad however was amazing & fresh.
Matcha was absolutely disgusting, I could tell that it wouldn't taste right just by looking at the colour.

The space is clean but the service was very slow & only when it was my turn to pay they informed me that the hotdog is actually more expensive than what they stated on the menu because they've changed it.

It has potential.

I love love love Veganessa! The food is delicious, health-conscious & inclusive. I'm super lucky that it's in my neck of the woods. Can't recommend it enough!
