I haven't had the chance to dine in person yet, but Chef Tang has officially become my go-to spot on Uber Eats! I've ordered from here multiple times now, & the consistency is incredibly impressive.
The main courses & side dishes are always packed with flavor, the food arrives hot, & the portions are genuinely generous. The only thing I've tried that wasn't for me was the chicken feet, but literally everything else has been absolutely delicious & well-made.
The only small detail worth mentioning is that their prices lean a little bit higher compared to some competitors, & main dishes don't automatically include rice on the side. You do have to order it extra, whereas other spots might be $2 to $3 cheaper & throw the rice in.
That being said, because the food quality & portion sizes are always so high & consistently great, I really don't mind paying the premium. Highly recommend ordering from here if you want an excellent, high quality meal!

Finally got to try the hidden menu item at Chef Tang - the ginger scallion twin lobsters! 🦞🦞

I saw another table order it on a previous visit & couldn't stop thinking about it, so this time I specially called ahead to reserve it. Totally worth it.

The lobsters were incredibly fresh, meaty, & perfectly cooked. The ginger & scallion sauce was fragrant, rich, & packed with wok hei. One of the best lobster dishes I've had in Montreal.

Highly recommend if you know what to ask for 😉

Très bon restaurant chinois !
Les plats sont savoureux & les portions généreuses. Le patron est vraiment gentil & accueillant, on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Le service est rapide & l'ambiance familiale est très agréable.
Je recommande sans hésiter !

Great little Asian restaurant! We have passed by so many times & finally decided to give it a shot & we were very happy we did. We weren't exactly starving so we only ordered a plate of fried rice to share, along with some eggrolls & a wonton & hot & sour soup.

Everything was excellent. Nothing was out of a package or out of the freezer. All was made from scratch & fresh.

Service was warm & friendly & we felt like we were long time customers instead of first timers. This may have been the first time there, but it certainly will not be the last. They have a large menu, & we plan on trying most of it in the future. Considering the lack of excellent Chinese food in the area, we were really happy we gave this place a shot. I regret not taking any pictures, something I will not forget to do the next time.

Also, the restaurant was very clean & so was the washroom. So nice to see.

Usually the food here is top tier. Not sure what changed. We ordered delivery. I recommend you do not order out…. Try it in person, it's much better.

The beef & broccoli - the chicken & vegetable dishes were way too watery & lacked flavour. The peanut butter dumpling were in a soup & not anything like what I tried.

For 62$ with tip : 3 dishes & 1 small soup, taste to price ratio was below average.

Absolutely love this place! Amazing food & service, the staff is so friendly. Obsessed with the hot & sour soup too, it's amazing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

If you have a sudden craving for home made Chines food, I strongly recommend this place. The food is delicious, & the owners are very very nice!
