I've ordered from this place quite a few times ever since I moved into the city & it's been my go-to Chinese takeout spot. I've really enjoyed the food every time.
This was the first time I've had an issue with an order (wrong order), & they handled it really well. I reached out & they took care of it quickly & went above & beyond to fix the mistake.
Really appreciated the way it was handled. Still one of my favourite spots for sure.
Finally got to try the hidden menu item at Chef Tang - the ginger scallion twin lobsters! 🦞🦞
I saw another table order it on a previous visit & couldn't stop thinking about it, so this time I specially called ahead to reserve it. Totally worth it.
The lobsters were incredibly fresh, meaty, & perfectly cooked. The ginger & scallion sauce was fragrant, rich, & packed with wok hei. One of the best lobster dishes I've had in Montreal.
Highly recommend if you know what to ask for 😉

Un restaurant chaleureux où l'on se sent un peu comme à la maison.
Les plats sont délicieux, réconfortants & préparés avec soin. On retrouve le goût de la cuisine maison, simple & authentique. Le patron est très gentil & accueillant, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Une très belle découverte, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Vous cherchez un endroit où manger un vrai repas chinois, fait maison, sans vous ruiner ? Ne cherchez plus ! Ce resto est la pépite du quartier : des produits ultra frais, une qualité au top & une attention toute particulière portée à chaque plat. Ici, on ne sert pas du tout fait ni du réchauffé, c'est du 100 % fait sur place, comme à la maison. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, décontractée, parfaite pour se sentir comme chez soi tout en savourant des saveurs authentiques. Franchement, faire un détour par ce restaurant, c'est indispensable si vous voulez goûter un vrai repas chinois, savoureux & généreux. Vous ne serez pas déçu !
Le personnel est très aimable & rapide. Les plats sont préparés à la minute & servis bien chauds. J'ai commandé les nouilles de riz au boeuf & sauce soja, & c'était tout simplement parfait

Great little Asian restaurant! We have passed by so many times & finally decided to give it a shot & we were very happy we did. We weren't exactly starving so we only ordered a plate of fried rice to share, along with some eggrolls & a wonton & hot & sour soup.
Everything was excellent. Nothing was out of a package or out of the freezer. All was made from scratch & fresh.
Service was warm & friendly & we felt like we were long time customers instead of first timers. This may have been the first time there, but it certainly will not be the last. They have a large menu, & we plan on trying most of it in the future. Considering the lack of excellent Chinese food in the area, we were really happy we gave this place a shot. I regret not taking any pictures, something I will not forget to do the next time.
Also, the restaurant was very clean & so was the washroom. So nice to see.

Usually the food here is top tier. Not sure what changed. We ordered delivery. I recommend you do not order out…. Try it in person, it's much better.

The beef & broccoli - the chicken & vegetable dishes were way too watery & lacked flavour. The peanut butter dumpling were in a soup & not anything like what I tried.

For 62$ with tip : 3 dishes & 1 small soup, taste to price ratio was below average.
Absolutely love this place! Amazing food & service, the staff is so friendly. Obsessed with the hot & sour soup too, it's amazing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was not advised that the delivery starts only after 5:00 pm. I ordered at 4:15 pm & was told that it arrives in 30 minutes hour. After 45 minutes wait I called & was told'There is traffic & he is on the way...' That was a lie!
The order was delivered with 1:15 delay, 'He was on the way nearly' full hour for a distance of a few city blocks! Never again!
Second time ordering general tao (for pickup). Asked for sauce on the side this time & it's much better this way imo as last time it was too sweet for me.
Order was ready in less than 10mins & they also gave me a fortune cookie which was a pleasant surprise.
