As a vegan, finding flavorful, satisfying options can sometimes be a challenge-but Chef Istanbul absolutely nails it! Their falafel sandwich is hands down the best in Montreal. It's a go-to comfort food that never disappoints. The bread is freshly baked & the best bread I have ever had.
The staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming, always making you feel at home. They're happy to accommodate dietary needs & clearly take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is relaxed & inviting, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal.View more
We got the chicken/beef shawarma plate & the filet mignon sandwich trio. All was fresh & really tasty, although be careful if u don't like dill as they put it as the part of the sauce in the sandwich. But other than that, I believe they have the best fries & dip in Montreal!
The prices are a bit higher than in other similar places in Montreal (40$ for both, excl. tip) but overall it was a very nice place for lunch!!View more
The reason why I'm giving this establishment a three star review is due its lack of accessibility, however the food was great! I had the Beef Sharwarma Sandwich. Was served hot & it tasted very fresh!
The restaurant is located in a new building but there is no door opener, so if you are in a wheelchair or other use any other mobility device & do not have a lot of strength, you will need someone to be with you to open the door for you. A customer living with a disability mostly like can't come into the restaurant by themselves. There are many possible solutions such as installing a door bell or a ring camera that would allow customers with disabilities access to the restaurant that respect their independence & autonomy. Please do better & try to make your establishment more accessible for as many people as possible.View more
Was excited to see a new Turkish grillhouse pop up in the neighbourhood as I am very fond of Turkish food. The prices seemed a bit high for a casual, takeout restaurant. So I opted for a sandwich. There were no customization options. The sandwich I received was overly toasted, burnt at the edges with a sad amount of toppings. Really was not worth the dollars. I might have had a better experience if I went for the platter which was about twice the price.
2025 update: I've come back a couple times since & my experience was much better the second time. Third time was better than first time but not as good as the 2nd time. Seems like experience here varies depending on who is working.View more
The food here is very good. They make their bread on site & aren't shy about giving you a lot of chicken. The sandwich had a hint of mint, some Cukes & lots of meat. Very fresh & very tasty & affordable!!! I will return for sureView more
The soup was perfect during a cold night, along with a delicious kebab sandwich & a cup of tea that hit the spot. Great service & hospitality by Mohammad & Latif.View more

Had Falafel sandwich. Affordable, tasty & huge! Real value for money.View more
The same type of sandwich as Antep offer but with lower quality! Just the bread is fresh but the quality of the meat is not good! The lamb kebab sandwich has a very bad smell!View more
Is it a good sandwich? yes. But is it worth waiting 20 minutes & interacting with a miserable cashier? no.View more
Really enjoyed my sandwich at Chef Constantinople! I'd Recommend to anyone in the area!View more
I was expecting hot food, ordered a kebab sandwich, half cold. Not satisfied.View more
Restaurant rapide turc. View more
5/5 I'm totallyyyy satisfied. I really liked the place. The food was delicious (I had a lamb sandwich). They treat you very nicely. Everything is perfect at this place. Believe me, you will never regret it!View more
I visited this place for the first time, located in the heart of downtown, had a yogurt tantuni plate & a beef dinner sandwich. I enjoyed both but I prefer the yogurt tantuni. The sandwich lacked flavor but that could just be me. I dipped the sandwich into the yogurt sauce from the other plate lol. I then enjoyed it 😊 The Kunefe with vanilla ice cream was a first for me. It was a pleasant surprise, perfect level of sweetness & becomes rich with the ice cream. It was a perfect meal after a long day at work. I would come back for the yogurt tantuni & kunefe but would also try other items. Round 2: I had the beef plate & it was a real treat. The meat was fantastic, the dipping sauce was amazing, & the bread was fresh out of the oven literally. If you want fresh tasty Turkish kebab, this is the place to go to. I'll try other items soon 😋View more
You cannot go wrong with the spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, the value was great, the seating is comfortable, & the service was excellent. Definitely my new go to spot for my lunch when I'm on campus. I finished my meal with a hot Turkish tea which was the perfect way to end my lunch experience.View more
Très bon. Nous avons pris un sandwich à l'agneau, la lahmajoun, & une assiette Kebab. Le pain eat fait maison & très frais.View more
The falafel sandwich is enormous & delicious: well-prepared falafel, good sauce, plenty of veggies & a tasty homemade bun. Amazing quality & quantity for mere 9 dollars. Very nice & quick service. Simple decor, but really clean.View more
The only reason I went there because of hoping I would eat Turkish Food, but it has nothing to do with Turkish food so I don't want you to be disappointed like me. Food was ok, sandwiches bread was delicious but unfortunately I couldn't find I what I was looking for. Please ask customers if they want yogurt in their sandwich or not!!! Just dont put it....View more
