Great dining experience in downtown Mont Tremblant! Their specialty is hot stone dining: you order a variety of meats & then serve it on a hot stone so you can cook it yourself. We thoroughly enjoyed our taste of Quebec deer, elk, bison, & duck!
Wow. Just wow. We got the hot stone with a flank steak, & filet of tuna - it was DELICIOUS! We also had the dessert, which was home made & really, really good. Will definitely be back! The escargot in cheese wasn't bad but not my favorite. The goat cheese was delicious.

The meal was very different so I give 4 stars for that. We ate off a hot stone & dipped bread in cheese fondue. But, overall, I did not enjoy the dishes. Everything was bland.
Interesting concept using hot stone plates to cook your own slices of meat. There is quite a large selection of meats to sample: bison, deer, elk, kangaroo, emu, beef, chicken, & more. As an experience, it's quite novel.
When we arrived we were lead to our table outside on covered porch. The weather was beautiful for this atmosphere. The waiter was top notch, speaking to us in English & explaining our meal choices.
Three of us selected the hot stone meal & one selected the calves liver. We haven't stopped raving about your restaurant & meals. We will be recommending your restaurant to our family & friends. We also will returning again when we visit St. Jovite.

I can appreciate the attention to detail & level of creativity that is put into each meal.
As an entré, I took a House Salade, it was light, fresh & delicious. I love the Dijon-balsamic vinaigrette. My husband had the Gravlax Salmon which he loved & it was a beautiful presentation.
For the main course, I took the gently roasted Magret Duck with honey, garlic & ginger sauce. It was delicious. The sauce was savoury & excellent over the pieces of duck which were cooked to perfection. The scallop potatoes were creamy & not too cheesy. The cooked vegetables were great with the sauce as well.
My husband took the Canadian Hot Stone (deer, bison & elk). He said the experience was fun since you cook it on a hot stone. It would have been better if there was more sea salt grains on the plate or in a small container to season the meat. Additionally, it would have been nice to have the meats identified or explained because it was hard to identify which one was which. The sauces were good, yet, it would have been nice to be explained which ones pair better with each meat.
Overall the food was pretty good & very nice presentations!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at C'est La Vie! The appetizers arrived promptly & set the tone for the meal ahead. We enjoyed the Swiss fondue, French onion soup & Foie Gras. Our mains were a mix of the classic meals of duck & filet & one of us enjoyed the hot stone with mixed meats. We. were all very pleased with our mains & finished it off with the cherry sundae which was light, fresh & divine. Service was great throughout the evening. A great experience in Temblant!
We had a very entertaining & relaxed evening at the restaurant. Although labeled as a haute cuisine restaurant, it was quite informal & the food also not that exquisite. We both took a hotstone dish, after being convinced by the waitress, This is quite a familiar concept in the country we come from & often regarded as a bit ´cheapy´ but that was not the case here. Good quality of fish & meat & the stone gave it a nice grill taste. Desserts were a bit disappointing, quite bland. The star of the evening was our energetic, friendly & humourous waitress from Paris: it is always great to see someone having so much fun in her work! Overall; a good experience, although quite pricey, at least to our European standards, but in line with other Canadian diners we had.

We are vacation travelers to the area & this was our first visit to c'est la vie. Charming house with indoor & porch seating, good food & service, family friendly as well. But oh those mosquitoes! No idea whether or not this is a regular problem; we spent more time trying to kill or swat away mosquitoes then eating our hot stone - cooked meal. If we ever go back it definitely will not be in the summer!
Absolutely wonderful meal from Starters to mains through to dessert. Host was a delight as well. Very much enjoyed the escargot, onion soup, hot stone duck & calf's liver. Finished off with an Ice cream sundae!!!

Excellent food & wine.! Our server was very attentive & I tried my meal on the "Hot Stone" after he explained how it worked. I was very happy with this new experience. My husband really enjoyed his salmon dish as well. The crème brûlée & sugar tart rounded of a delicious dinner.
Great atmosphere, the service was as good as any 5 star restaurant we have been too. Food was excellent. The hot stone meal was very fun & easy to use, got to try some exotic meats. Thanks for making my wife's birthday great!!!
