Celeste impressionne par une ambiance magnifique et accueillante, un service attentif et une cuisine d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Du decor rafraîchissant à la cuisine ouverte et au personnel souriant, l'expérience se révèle soignée tout en restant chaleureuse. Le menu mêle influences italiennes et plats savoureux tels que cannelloni, pâtes aux champignons, calamars et thon cru, et des plats phares comme la salade de stracciatella à la figue, un steak parfaitement cuit et des pommes de terre croustillantes au gras de canard, suivis de desserts comme un délicieux gâteau au chocolat. Le pain frais et une belle sélection de vins et de cocktails, dont les espresso martinis, complètent le repas. Bien que le prix soit un peu élevé, la qualité et l'atmosphère permettent de vivre une soirée mémorable, idéale pour les occasions spéciales, les sorties en amoureux ou entre amis, ou en famille. Un nouveau hotspot à Montréal que beaucoup de convives seraient ravis de revisiter, soulignant l'énergie vive et le niveau élevé de chaque plat.
Delicious food & great atmosphere! We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share (meatballs, tartare, fried eggplant, lobster salad) & I also shared a lobster & scallop risotto with my sister. The dessert was great too. Loved the panna cotta. Would go back for another special occasion!

Had such an amazing experience at Celeste!
From the moment we walked in, everything felt elegant, welcoming, & high quality. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was attentive, & the food honestly exceeded my expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, & made with so much care. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.
Tbh, the prices are definitely on the higher side, but after trying the food, I can honestly say it's worth it for the experience & quality you get. Sometimes you pay more for average food, but this place truly delivers. Everything we ordered was delicious & satisfying without feeling heavy.
The presentation, the flavors, & the overall vibe made the whole dinner feel special.
It's one of those restaurants that leaves you already thinking about what you want to order next time before even leaving.
Definitely coming back for more & can't wait to try more dishes from the menu!

Food is refined but still comforting, & the service just elevates everything.
You don't just go to Celeste to eat, you go for the full experience. Definitely a must.
The food at Celeste is good, but the service speed is a major issue. I've been three times & each meal has taken close to four hours because of long stretches where the waiter disappears. On my last visit we also waited almost an hour for our table & weren't even offered a drink while waiting. The kitchen & menu are solid, but the pacing needs serious improvement.
Celeste absolutely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, the energy is undeniable - a vibrant crowd, stunning ambiance, & a room full of beautiful people that instantly makes the experience feel special. The music sets the tone perfectly: upbeat, stylish, & immersive without taking away from the overall vibe… though depending on where you're seated, it can get a little loud at times.
The food is genuinely impressive. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, with bold flavors & high-quality ingredients that make it clear why this place gets so much attention. It's not just a'scene' - the kitchen absolutely delivers.
That said, this isn't a place to rush. Service & pacing lean more toward a relaxed, social dining experience, so you'll want to come in with the mindset of enjoying the moment rather than eating quickly & leaving. It's more about the full experience - the people, the music, the atmosphere - than just the meal itself.
Overall, Celeste is 100% worth the hype. Go for the vibe, stay for the food, & take your time soaking it all in.
Waiters & bartender are well trained or been around for a long time.
Primi Platini are really traditional Italian size, being small & for the size of food to the price ratio, I don't find it worthy....
The CAPPELLACCI ALLE COSTINE DI MANZO had a good souce & a good filling, but the pasta sheet was unevenly cooked, the thinner part holding the meat was good but the thicker folded crimped part was chewy. If the design was changed or rolled move even this would be a hit..
SEPPIA ALLA GRIGLIA was perfect.
The sauce & the tenderness of the meat was perfect.
But nothing on the side to breakup the fish..
I was dining along & asked to move from my table to the bar to make space for a larger group..
but no complimentary drink, for my kindness.. Still had to pay full whack.
2x glasses of wine.
1x Primi dish.
1x Secondi dish. (Only because the Primi dish was so small)
1x Limoncello.
€180 for 1 person... I won't be going back.....

Amazing new restaurant downtown montreal. From the refreshing decor to RJ's great hospitality to the very tasty food , it was an overall great experience & I would 100% recommend 🔥🔥
Service déplorable. Réservation à 21h, nous n'avons été attablés qu'à 21h50 & la bouffe n'est arrivée qu'à 23h. Tout ça sans aucune explication ou excuses de la direction.
Once once you enter the restaurant you get greeted by the really sweetest host ever. The restaurant is really nicely done it's gorgeous & the stock is also super nice & very sweet. They always make sure that everything is OK. The food was really delicious. I had the cannelloni pasta while my aunt had the mushroom pasta. We also took appetizers like calamari & the raw tuna. The calamari is really good same as the raw tuna & I really love the touch of sweetness that was inside. I'm not really a fan of cake but as dessert I took the chocolate cake & it was the most delicious chocolate cake I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a really nice time it's also kind of pricey, but the food makes up for it definitely will be coming back!
Montreal, & what a wonderful discovery! Everything we enjoyed was absolutely delicious, flavorful, & perfectly prepared.
We would love to have this experience with our daughter as well. We are already counting the days until we can be together again. Some places you just visit, while others you can't wait to return to.
Tried the new restaurant Celeste in Montreal & had a really fun night. The ambiance is beautiful & the food was very good.
We shared everything, which made it even more enjoyable. We started with amazingly fresh bread. We had the stracciatella salad with fig dressing, the cowgirl cut steak cooked perfectly, & crispy duck fat potatoes that were so good. Dessert was yummy, & we enjoyed a nice red wine from Puglia.
Overall, a really nice night out
