Nous étions un groupe d'une dizaine de personnes, & la majorité a commandé une salade. Peu de temps après le repas, presque tout le groupe est tombé malade, avec des symptômes sévères de vomissements & de fortes diarrhées. Le fait que plusieurs personnes ayant consommé le même plat soient tombées malades de façon aussi rapide & simultanée, dès la nuit même après être rentrés, soulève de très sérieuses inquiétudes quant à l'hygiène & à la sécurité alimentaire de l'établissement.
Le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement indéfendable. Les pâtes étaient facturées 42 $ (avant taxes & pourboire) pour une portion ridiculement petite d'environ 9 morceaux de pâtes (vous pouvez les comptez dans l'image). Une quantité franchement dérisoire pour un plat principal, surtout à ce prix. En plus de cela, le plat était excessivement huileux, au point d'en devenir désagréable à manger.
Sans compter le fait que le service était d'une lenteur inacceptable. Nous avons passé plus de 6 heures dans le restaurant, avec plus d'une heure d'attente entre chaque étape du repas : une heure pour les boissons, deux heures pour les entrées, une heure pour les plats, une heure pour les desserts, puis encore une heure pour recevoir l'addition. Une organisation complètement inefficace & interminable.
Autre point totalement absurde : les mocktails sans alcool ont été facturés exactement au même prix que les cocktails alcoolisés, sans aucune justification ni ajustement. Dans la grande majorité des restaurants, l'absence d'alcool entraîne normalement un prix inférieur ici, aucune différence, ce qui donne une impression de facturation opportuniste & injustifiée.
This was a wonderful restaurant. The space was modern sleek & had a large open kitchen. Seating was comfortable & you could choose indoor or outdoor seating. The wait staff was extremely attentive. My wife & I ordered calamari as an appetizer & it was one of the best I have had. The cannellini bean dip & the pizzaiola sauce were perfect. My wife had the gnudi which were perfect little dumplings in an excellent tomato sauce. I had the linguini vongoli. The linguini was perfectly cooked served with a dozen little neck clams perfectly cooked. Overall a great experience
Celeste is the newest restaurant from the team behind Beatrice & Estelle, & they have created another standout destination in Montreal. The atmosphere is vibrant & energetic. It's the kind of place to see & be seen, with spectacular interior design & beautifully curated furnishings that make the space feel as memorable as the meal.
We were a group of five, including two vegetarians, & everyone had plenty of excellent options to choose from, whether pasta, fish, steak or vegetarian dishes. The menu offers enough variety to satisfy different tastes without losing its identity.
Celeste is more than just dinner. It's an experience & the kind of restaurant that turns an evening out into a memorable occasion.
Everything from the food, to the service & the atmosphere were absolutely spectacular. The dishes was incredibly flavourful & of top-notch quality. Absolutely 0 complaints. Definitely a top restaurant in Montreal.

I am disappointed however with the cowgirl steak we ordered. It was $140 & it came cold, when we told the waitress, it was returned to the kitchen to be reheated , & then returned over cooked & flavourless. For a cut of $140 I expected much better. We told the waitress that we didn't like the steak , & we were offered shots , that we didn't want. I would have appreciated a better response.
The food & atmosphere at Celeste were outstanding! My husband & I had the carpaccio appetizer, & we shared the branzino as it was a large dish. Everything was flavorful, & the branzino was especially nice as it was a delicious dish. We celebrated a special occasion & were brought a very nice dessert! Thank you so much for making the evening such a memorable occasion. We will definitely return & would certainly recommend!
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was the service. It was beyond exceptional-friendly, attentive, & genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The staff went above & beyond to make us feel taken care of. You can tell they truly care about their customers. We'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food & outstanding service. 5 stars!
