My experience was extremely disappointing & unacceptable. On July 7, I called the restaurant at 9:40 PM to place a pickup order. The employee told me that she could not prepare the order over the phone & asked me to come to the restaurant to place it in person. I arrived at 10:30 PM after traveling a long distance, only to be told that the restaurant was closed, even though the posted closing time is 11:00 PM.

What made the situation even more frustrating was that there were still customers inside. The employee was talking, laughing, & serving them, but she refused to prepare my order even though I came based on her instructions.

When I tried to ask for the employee's name so I could provide feedback properly, she refused to give it to me. This made the situation even more frustrating & gave me the impression that there was no interest in resolving the issue or taking responsibility.

This shows poor organization & a lack of respect for customers' time & effort. I should have been informed over the phone instead of being asked to come all the way there & waste my time, especially since I traveled from far away based on the employee's instructions. This was an unprofessional experience, & I will not be returning. I hope management reviews the way customers are treated & improves the level of service.

I visited C'ChoColat a few years ago & had such a great experience that I wanted to come back & relive those memories.

The desserts are still good, & the atmosphere is just as charming. However, I felt that both the quality & the portion sizes have declined compared to my previous visit.

The biggest disappointment was that our table was very sticky & dirty. We had to ask several times before it was finally cleaned well enough for us to enjoy our desserts comfortably.

My expectations were definitely higher based on my previous visit, but despite these issues, it's still a nice place with delicious desserts & a cozy atmosphere. I hope they'll pay a little more attention to cleanliness & consistency because it has the potential to be excellent again.

TERRIBLE customer service from one employee . It felt like she was going to break down over one issue about where we wanted to be seated. She was YELLING & it felt like we were dealing with a child. Not sure if employees are being worked to this point or if she was just incredibly rude & irrational. either way never coming here again

The crêpuccine was by far the best dessert I've had in my entire life. The concept of dessert pasta was executed flawlessly. the crepe had a fun chewy texture, the tableside presentation of pouring the (chocolate) sauce & (which chocolate shaving) cheese was entertaining, & the (brownie) meatballs added yet another flavor. It's a big portion, more than enough for 2 to share. We chose the dark chocolate 70% sauce & even that was plenty sweet. A must try if you're visiting Montreal.
