About us
Casa Galicia has been a staple of Spanish cuisine in Montreal since 1977. Founded by Laurentino Oliveira and still proudly family-run, the tradition continues today with Jorge Oliveira and David Oliveira at the helm.
Recognized as one of the best Spanish restaurants in North America, Casa Galicia specializes in authentic Galician cuisine, offering classic dishes like paella, zarzuela, and a variety of regional specialties. Guests can pair their meals with a refreshing pitcher of sangria considered among the best in Montreal, or explore the restaurant’s unique wine cellar, featuring reserve wines from Spain’s most prestigious winemaking regions.

Superbe souper en famille avec nos trois fils. La nourriture est excellente & les portions sont généreuses. L'ambiance est chaleureuse. Service impeccable de la part de Firo. Nous y retournerons pour voir le spectacle de flamenco.

Nous sommes parties 3 personnes pour célébrer la veille du nouvel an 2025-2026. Aucune remarque négative pour ce restaurant. Emprunt de convivialité, service impeccable tout au long de notre visite chez Casa Galicia. Personnel courtois & aux petits soins. Malgré que le restaurant était plein le temps d'attente était très bien organisé entre chaque plat. La nourriture était délicieuse & une assiette de fruits de mer qu'on ne retrouve plus nulle part dans les restaurants. Les prix sont à mon avis très correct pour la qualité servie.
Vraiment conquise par ce resto!!!
Merci pour ce beau moment passé à votre établissement ! Ça débute bien 2026! On revient vous voir.

Everything is fantastic at this restaurant, but try to make sure you go on a night when they have the flamenco dancing because it's literally fantastic!!! I have been all over Spain & the flamenco dancing is as good as you would find in the best places in Spain!

Loved this restaurant. The host was super polite & very knowledgeable of the food. The food was fantastic & next time we'll try a regular dish as opposed to the specials. The creme brûle was better than french restaurants I've been too.

Tried this restaurant today & we loved it so much! The food tasted just like the restaurants in Spain, so authentic & full of flavour.
Our waiter, Firo, was AMAZING. He was so friendly, attentive, & genuinely made the whole experience so much better. We left feeling so happy, & definitely coming back soon! 💛 Thank you FIRO!

I enjoyed my food & the amazing service at this restaurant. It had a cute Spanish vibe & brought me to Spain from Montreal. We had lobster bisque for our starter that was very creamy & delicious came with garlic bread which was a bit too crunchy. For main we had steak & paella which were so delicious. & as a dessert we had something like crème brûlée which tasted differently but ok. Something that I really loved about this place was the waiter who was very gentleman & respectful. He took care of us very well. I'd go back there again😊😊
