Quite outstanding cuisine & service. Not at all like the surrounding tourist restaurants. Very warm reception, excellent wine recommendations, & a very memorable meal. Thank you!
The food was excellent!
Thank you for such a nice evening, will definitely go back! 😋
Really nice food. A little confusing because we don't know much about Peruvian food (however there are Italian dishes too). all the Peruvian food was excellent, fresh & delicious. Halibut ceviche, pork in tuna sauce with truffle peach, seafood paella … all amazing & unique to my palette. .
Good food. The Tiradito is a must-try. The fish is fresh & very tasty. They managed to do a good fusion of Italian & Peruvian cuisines.
Best meal in Montreal! Loved the tiradito caprese, the vegetables, the brisket & octopus carpaccio! Looking forward to returning soon to try the rest of the menu. Service was wonderful as well!
Can't believe this place isn't packed yet. Amazing food, really lovely service & a nice upscale retro diner vibe inside. The food is truly original & the sauces are incredible. We loved everything we had but the star was their take on a Caprese. Was as good or better than much more expensive places I've been to in other cities with a similar upscale take on Peruvian.
Excellent. Une petite erreur anodine avec des verres de vin & le gérant a remarqué & les a changé d'office rapidement sans demande de notre part. Ça c'est de l'hospitalité. La carte est sublime.
Everything was great. The food (we had multiple seafood options) was just amazingly tasty, fresh & unique. Definitely recommended.
We were a group of 6 with kids & we were super thirsty. We weren't hungry so we told it before we entered. They were super nice about it. Considering we were only having beer & soft drinks it was obvious that we weren't going to spend much money. However their service was friendly. Because of this we plan to return there to eat &/or to have cocktails!
What a unique gem of a restaurant find this is, & in Old Montreal no less. We are definitely in the age of blending cuisines, so Capisco perfectly enhances today's foodie couture with a wonderful Peruvian/ Italian fusion. So creative, so modern.
We were just before the busy crowd, so we were treated to being served by the owner. He told us some fascinating facts about Peruvian cuisine, & described how it can be thoughtfully incorporated into Italian cuisine (& vice versa). Our group shared 5 dishes & every one was so flavourful & beautifully presented. Total wow factor!
I can't wait to try this restaurant again, next time I'm in Montreal.
Thank you! (The Vancouver group)
Very nice evening. We split three appies & each had the drink of the day. The ceviche was delicious, ate that before the photo! There was a good amount of seafood on the menu, like you would find in Miraflores in Peru. The verdura mix a la plancha had the option to add grilled octopus, which was a great addition & the vegetables weren't overdone so still had texture. The pan con chicharon was good as well, but not the star of the show for us.
We sat in the terrace & enjoyed some buskers performing. Being outside with many tourists walking by might not be for everyone though, so do consider that when choosing your seating.
Amazing food! The atmosphere was fabulous & the service was amazing as well!
Didn't order any food but grabbed some drinks at the bar. Wonderful decor & clean atmosphere! Bartender(s) were kind & very familiar with their menu. Drink prices were not tourist-taxed, which is nice for a local who works nearby. I'd love to visit again 😁
