From the moment we walked in we were greeted & welcomed by Mia & this attention continued for the rest of our experience. She helped us with menu & drink recommendations which worked out perfect. The food & drinks were amazing. The braised beef with gnocchi was insanely good. We will definitely be returning.
Have nothing but glowing things to say about this place after stumbling upon it during a short work trip. Drinks were excellent, as was the food. Ambience was really great as well. Almost went here a second night in a row. Didn't, & regretted it. Will be coming back next time I'm in Montreal.

10/10 experience. We loved the food, drinks & the staff. I would highly recommend the aji gallina & the caprese. We sat at the bar & our experience was made by our great bartender. Couldn't recommend enough if you're looking for a great date night spot
Great little spot. Excellent service. We ordered a bunch of items on the menu. Most of them tasted great. Drinks were good too! I would go again. Lasagne was super good. Ceviche was amazing as well.
Hands down, one of the best all-around meals & now one of my favorites restaurants. Ordered the amor y fresca drink, homemade focaccia, fritto mixto - all of which were equally amazing. But the star of the show was the brisket lomo saltado - it was absolutely, out of this world. I would absolutely come back & recommend to anyone visiting!
Our second night in Montreal & went here with a large party (two couples, 3 kids). Warm, inviting atmosphere. Great service throughout, from drinks, to starters to mains & dessert. Almost everything was delicious & we tried a broad range. The ceviche, verdura mix & frito mixto starters were amazing - particularly the verdura. I had the pan con chicharon sandwich which I had to gobble down it was so good. My wife had the scallops & loved them. But the pièce de résistance was the lasagna which is large (they warn you!) & we all pitched in to devour. Highly recommend Capisco, wonderful experience in every regard.
Easily the worst dining experience I've had in Montreal. The restaurant was almost empty & the service was still nonexistent. My vegetables took 40 minutes, & when they finally arrived they were drenched in so much oil that there was a literal puddle at the bottom of the bowl. Completely inedible.
The waitress (short blonde hair) never checked on me once, I had to chase her down for everything. To make it worse, I watched her take a shot at the bar right as I sat down, which honestly explains a lot. When I sent the dish back, she cleared all my plates, including my drink, & then disappeared for 20 minutes. I actually had to start getting ready to leave before she finally noticed me & brought the bill.
Terrible food, even worse service. There's a reason this place is empty. Save yourself the disappointment.
We were a group of 6 with kids & we were super thirsty. We weren't hungry so we told it before we entered. They were super nice about it. Considering we were only having beer & soft drinks it was obvious that we weren't going to spend much money. However their service was friendly. Because of this we plan to return there to eat &/or to have cocktails!
Very nice evening. We split three appies & each had the drink of the day. The ceviche was delicious, ate that before the photo! There was a good amount of seafood on the menu, like you would find in Miraflores in Peru. The verdura mix a la plancha had the option to add grilled octopus, which was a great addition & the vegetables weren't overdone so still had texture. The pan con chicharon was good as well, but not the star of the show for us.
We sat in the terrace & enjoyed some buskers performing. Being outside with many tourists walking by might not be for everyone though, so do consider that when choosing your seating.
