A hidden gem. A perfect Pisco Sour cocktail followed by an under-the-radar plate of Verdura Mixed Veg that included perfectly roasted fingerling potatoes, broccoli, red pepper, capers & marinated artichoke. We soaked tender focaccia in the leftover charred oil. Bliss. Thought this dish would be the highlight but Arroz con Mariscos & Cappeletti de Aji Gallina delighted. Go. Then brag to your friends...

We were a group of three couples out for a fun dinner. & Capisco was the perfect place. We had a reservation for 7:30 & only left towards 11:30, the food the service & the ambiance contributed greatly to an evening that flew by! The noise level was very moderate, & the background music was not overwhelming so that we could all converse with ease at our table. Peruvian cuisine is so distinctive in its flavours & colours & all of the courses that we had in the tasting menu/dégustation at the selection of the chef were fantastic! Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!
Just walking through the old port, stopped in with no expectations but couldn't
have been more surprised by the incredible experience I had being served by…I believe her name was Mia.
Her &, who I think was the manager (guy with a moustache) made for such an unexpectedly amazing experience.
Will be back!
Easily the worst dining experience I've had in Montreal. The restaurant was almost empty & the service was still nonexistent. My vegetables took 40 minutes, & when they finally arrived they were drenched in so much oil that there was a literal puddle at the bottom of the bowl. Completely inedible.
The waitress (short blonde hair) never checked on me once, I had to chase her down for everything. To make it worse, I watched her take a shot at the bar right as I sat down, which honestly explains a lot. When I sent the dish back, she cleared all my plates, including my drink, & then disappeared for 20 minutes. I actually had to start getting ready to leave before she finally noticed me & brought the bill.
Terrible food, even worse service. There's a reason this place is empty. Save yourself the disappointment.
Came for an early dinner. Had a mix of small plate dishes plus soup & pork sandwich. Just wow. What a pleasant surprise. Top notch whiskey cocktail too.
They call themselves an Italo-Peruvian restaurant but I see a French influence too.
We booked the 3 courses experience & enjoyed all of them. The non-alcoholic pairing was excellent & a great option. The attentiveness of the staff is noteworthy.

Amazing experience, high quality food full of unique flavors & tasty treats, Peruvian & Italian food is a great fusion, would highly recommend the chicharon sandwich, ouf that's good (sorry no pics, ate it too quick) Tiramisu was huge, rich & delicious.
Enjoyed my dinner with friends at Capisco. It has a nice ambience & not too noisy so you can have a nice conversation. The food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprise that the cocktails were also amazing. Would be coming back again for another visit.
