What a revelation. Don't know where to start here, just sat having a beer, nice weather type of beer.
Madcap wash board buskers set up next door, not my type but well listenable to.
Was going to a hiatian place then decide to look at menue here, saw Peruvian yellow potatoes ther & thought why not.
Well it was a revelation, with prawns & lobster bisque. Expeted the usual, whole potatoes with prawns & a bit of thick bisque.
What turned up - still trying to figure it out - prob nicest well constructed, taste full, balanced - plate of food I have had in a long while.
You have to try it, not costly & the chef has it sorted.
The staff are also amazing.
If it's one thing you do in Montreal, spend some time here.

C'était vraiment très bon! On a goûté à tous les plats & on en garde un très bon souvenir. La serveuse (dont j'ai malheureusement oublié le nom) était aussi très sympa. Merci !

Nous sommes allés vendredi le 27 juin… Quelle belle surprise. La nourriture excellente… les recommandations pour le vin extraordinaires & le service assuré par Meg, juste parfait. Nous y retournerons assurément!

I seriously can not say enough good things about this restaurant. We were visiting from Toronto as a table of 4. We have eaten in many top restaurants around the globe to include Michelin star restaurants & I have NEVER had a server share the details of the menu with such passion. Hands down Olivia is a hidden gem within this industry. The food OMG ! Sooooo good !! We ate family style & tried a total of 7 dishes. Each dish including the small plates was enough for 4 -5 people to share. I strongly recommend sharing family style so you have the opportunity to try the menu selection. As for the price we thought this was also very reasonable as there was bottle of wine shared & 5 cocktails.
