Started my day here early & stayed for a while (wifi codes are available on weekdays & they weren't shy to share more!). Throughout that I could see that the hospitality here was different than other cafes - there's a sense of community with the customers & everyone goes above & beyond for each other. Not to mention the food & drinks are delicious too (all made in house with carefully chosen high quality ingredients is what I was told!) Highly recommend the Pistaschio Croissant, but I also got the Orange Half Moon smoothie bowl & Lavendar Latte with Almond Milk which were delicious too! Couldn't recommend this place more & I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Montreal :)
3.5 - I had a weird experience here a few weeks back that I can't get out of my head. To start, the chia bowl & iced latte were both very good, so no complaints on the front of quality/taste, & the guy taking orders/preparing food was really nice.
I gave them my reusable mug, so when my order was called in a plastic to-go cup I clarified whether it was mine since I provided my mug, & was told to just pour my coffee into it. Part of using a reusable mug is as en effort to reduce waste! An'oops, sorry, I'll transfer it into your mug' would've been appreciated.
I noticed the cup wasn't full when they gave it to me, so after I poured it into my mug, I asked for a little bit more milk. My mug is bigger than the size of their coffee so I clarified I wasn't asking her to fill it up. Zero eye contact, no words, she made a sour face & splashed the tiniest bit of milk into it & turned away from me.
I sat in for a while & no one else seemed to get the weird service experience I got, so this is clearly an isolated incident, but it sucked to be treated like I was being unreasonable/rude when I was respectful & friendly.
decor is white walls with fake plants & wood trying to give rustic minimalist, & like most places attempting the same, is wack. some lampshades are cool. smoothie bowls look good but pushing 20 w tax & tip. matcha just milk w green food colouring. coffee is good enough, though nothing special. theres a fountain outside & the window fully slides open which redeems the whole place
Perhaps the nicest barista i've ever encountered. Didnt catch her name but she was such a ray of sunshine, helped me decide my drink & took her time making it. Great pumpkin spice latte, perfect foam, attentive service from everyone, & a comfortable environment.
Un véritable petit bijou! Ce café/smoothie bar est devenu mon nouveau coup de coeur. Tout est préparé avec soin, les bols sont frais, savoureux & tellement bien présentés. L'endroit dégage une atmosphère douce & accueillante, parfaite pour prendre une pause.
& que dire de la proprio - d'une gentillesse remarquable. On ressent tout de suite sa passion & son attention pour chaque client.
Un endroit où on revient avec plaisir, autant pour la qualité que pour l'énergie chaleureuse qui s'en dégage. ❤?
BEYOND 5 stars. highly recommend the vanilla latte as the syrup is made in-house & organic. we were served by myriam & she was literally the sweetest person ever!
Ce café est vraiment incroyable ! Le cadre épuré est très agréable, & côté nourriture, ils proposent d'excellentes alternatives sans gluten. Mention spéciale à la super barista, pétillante & attentionnée, qui prend soin de chaque commande.
loved the calm & friendly vibe, the lighting in there is stunning! everything was so attentively made, & the smoothie bowls are absolutely gorgeous 🍉🍊🍓
