Finally stopped in as i've passed this place a million times on my way to work. After simply not realizing the barista was speaking to me (one airpod in, looking at pastries), she went & said TO the customers waiting'this is how i clock who doesnt speak french at all, they're clueless...' & some other stuff i didnt catch. Im not sure why she would even say that in english given its most likely the language id speak if not french. Of course, she changed her tune when i greeted her & ordered in french. Never have i experienced such rude behaviour from any sort of staff ever. I decided to bite & chat with them about the language thing & she had the nerve to bring up the french language police as if that wasnt her exact behaviour 5 mins prior. No apology was given for shit talking me to other customers & the chai wasnt even all that either. Im not sure who she is (definitely had owner vibes so if that was you, you're lucky i was having such a good morning & didnt make a scene) but she needs to learn how to conduct herself in front customers, i still cant believe that happened lol

Absolutely stellar service! Felt very personal & kind, like having a morning coffee with a group of friends. Sunday morning vibes are unmatched here. A must-visit.

This is an very charming cafe enriched by the extremely welcoming & knowledgable staff & a comforting space. I have not interacted with a more friendly barista in my life & even at 9 am did not begrudge being conscious.

The cafe seemed like a sit down & chat type of space. Wifi could only be accessed with 45 minute codes, so if you are hoping for a space to study this may not be the place.
