We stopped by here for a coffee break & ended up blown away by the offerings! The unique drinks are genuinely very well executed dessert drinks. Highly recommend the pineapple americano & the matcha cake.
The cafe can get kind of cramped as its pretty small but the patio is laid out very well.
The dalgona coffee is great. The iced matcha latte was very watery, one of the worst ones I've ever had unfortunately, I'm hoping it's not always like that & I just got a bad one that day. The matcha strawberry cake is so fresh & very yummy, the only critique I have is that while the utensils are adorable they are not at all practical, way too tiny, it felt very silly lol The miso mushroom focaccia was delicious, & the lychee lemonade was good.
I was looking for a really good strawberry shortcake & I was served !!! 😍🥰 The cake was incredible, one of my top 3 to be honest !
I was scared to go in the late afternoon, but I was super happy that almost all the cakes were still available. So I tried almost all of them. I think the ube one was missing.
I really love matcha, so I was really happy to try the matcha strawberry cake, & the lavender matcha latte was AMAZING. One of the best.
The macarons were CRAZY too.
The prices are reasonnable for a coffee shop in Montreal. The inside was cute as well.
I took the cakes to go, & I bought A LOT.
But if you go for a drink & a slice of cake, it would be around 15$.
I visited for the first time this evening & had a enjoyable experience The coffee & macarons were delicious, & the staff were incredibly warm & friendly. I'll definitely be returning!
The taste of the matcha strawberry cake was amazing! It was fresh & not too sweet! The tiramisu was super delicious! The matcha latte & coffee tasted great!
The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars & not 5 is because the coffee we ordered had a slight fishy smell as well as the cake I ordered (that is not in this picture) did not have a crazy taste to it. Apart from that, the cake in this image (strawberry & matcha) was one of my favourite cakes EVER! I'm definitely coming back here to get a whole one for my birthday! Not only that, but the staff is always super nice & the drinks were super yummy too!
I've come back multiples times & their macarons although expensive are so good!
The café has really really nice staff & very healthy & tasty food. The coffee is excellent & the atmosphere is very cozy. A very nice place to come back on a regular base!!!
The coffee is amazing & their tiramisu doesn't have alcohol 👍🏻 their strawberry cake & the macrons is very delicious 🫶🏻 highly recommended to visit, I am very glad that I live near there 🤭🫶🏻
A super cute cafe with Asian themed desserts, coffee, & tea. There are several small tables on one side of the cafe, which is ideal for about 2 people each but will feel a bit crowded if any more. The interior is bright with a classic vintage feel. The staff were friendly & efficient. The strawberry matcha cake & the chiffon grape were amazing! Light & not too sweet but still satisfying. Everything on the menu seems to be vegetarian. Would return to try more of the menu!
I got a coffee & a hojicha & I will say that the coffee is good enough. It is nothing special but at least it's passable. The hojicha on the other hand was very disappointing. It's really lacking in flavour, sometimes you get a hint of tea flavour but hojicha should really not taste like this. Also expect to get very small drinks. There is nothing for me to come back for unfortunately. The location (place des arts) is very accessible & easy to find so no wonder it's so famous. It's always packed so don't expect to find anywhere to sit. At least the staff is very friendly :)
The lady serving us was super kind, good energy, & welcoming & not over done or fake. The decoration was cute & feminine but not overwhelming. The corner spot to sit was so perfect to wind down & share food with a girlfriend & chat. 100% will come back for the Hojicha tiramisu. It was creamy, perfectly sweet & the flavor combination with the tea was amazing, light & airy but had a certain depth that had your tongue begging for more. We preferred it to the coffee tiramisu because we are more fans of tea than coffee but your average coffee lover would love the classic tiramisu. Can't wait to come back & try more desserts. Would recommend for a girl catch up meet up or a cute date with your bf or gf ;)
