this place was LOVELY! i stayed there with a friend after class & we accidentally spent ~5 hours occupying a table (we were studying the entire time) i am very surprised the owner didn't just kick us out. speaking of which, the staff was very friendly & smiley we felt super comfy there. we ordered a matcha strawberry cake slice (~8$) & a cube of potato garlic bread (~4$). the cake was DELICIOUS, it wasn't too sweet & was very moist & soft. the bread on the other hand was kind of dry & hard on the edges but i personally still enjoyed it! would definitely come back for more cake, they had a pretty yummy looking selection of pastries.
Very cute café with very delicious desserts. We had 3 slices of cake & 1 fatcaron. The cakes were creamy, fluffy & not too sweet. My favourite cake was the Strawberry Matcha flavour, I thought the matcha had a nice deep taste. The fatcaron was very cute, it was heart-shaped, & it tasted good too but I preferred the cakes. EDIT: I came back, & had the Strawberry Matcha cake again & the Taro Taro cake. Both were so delicious & the fresh cream was so fluffy.
It's the perfect spot to relax & grab a little coffee with a nice homemade cake in the chaos of downtown Montreal! The seats are comfortable & the staff is friendly. ☕️🍰🧁📚
Went for some dessert snacks since friends have been recommending this place & i absolutely loved the macarons!! my faves were the matcha one, the passion fruit one & the lychee one. each macaron is 3.50 dollars but they like fat & so good. strawberry cake was kind of bland but still good! the osmanthus latte was also delicious & sweet & the hot chocolate was huge but really comforting & perfect amount of sweetness the people serving were also so sweet 🙏🙏 It took a while to get a seat which is expected because it's the weekend, would've probably been less packed if we went during the week

It's a very nice, pretty small coffee & pastry place near the metro next to a dépanneur ! I really love the decorations in the store & enjoy looking the environnement!! Friendly service, I took a match latte with a banana bread that was relatively affordable in term of price ! It was a very soft banana bread taste in a small portion & the matcha drink taste pretty good too!!💚💚💚 I wish they had more place to sit down in store but it's okay! I eat outside & it was a light breakfast 🫶 Will come back again in the futur to try their other pastries they have available because the cake looked so good !!
Want to eat riyue's desserts everyday! Recommend their macaron, basque, matcha&strawberries, & taro cake Grapefruit green tea is also really good (if you don't like sweet)

Cakes are mostly icing as depicted on the photo, very little taro. Macarons aren't soft enough, but they are delicate & visually appealing. Tight space, but well-lit.
The quality of the cakes are like any typical Chinese bakery. Although I found them stingey, for example the cut/slice of the cake is very small & they cut a blueberry in half, & thinly sliced grapes which I've never seen any bakery do before. I ordered a sesame drink which tasted slightly burnt but the osmanthus tea was good. Overall, it's okay for the downtown area but not special if you're a dessert foodie.
I don't know about the morning experience, but the afternoon one is a real disappointment. They need to either close early if they cannot offer a range of different dessert options as seen in pictures, or to balance their dessert so their window is always full. Cause when we went in, only four cake desserts were shown, which 2 where with lemon - not many choices compared to the pictures I saw here... Also, the place is so cramped, it's impossible to move without bumping into someone or something. It's definitely not the place to be during rush hours - I felt dizzy just walking-in. Finally, the actual food itself is not bad, but not amazing - they do not add much sugar into their desserts making them in the end just taste pretty blend, but I guess there's a niche of people that would actually like that, but again if they were options, I could have maybe find something actually meant for me, someone who actually want intense & original flavors in their dessert & don't mind the extra sugar in it. Drinks were good though, I really liked the limonade au yuzu & litchi, it was original & tasty!
the cutest little pastry shop with amazing baked goods like fatcarons & Asian flavoured cakes! They all looked too pretty to eat! Only downside is that it's limited in seating so go early if you intend to study there. Highly recommend their yuzu cheesecake & raspberry macaron!!
I ordered a cake to go. Although I didn't dine in, I did enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. The service was courteous. I ordered a hojicha tiramisu. It was fluffy & creamy with a strong hojicha flavour! Simply delicious! I would definitely come back to order a whole cake when they'll be able to offer that 😄
