Came here after a long walk on the Lachine Canal on the saturday evening. The interior is mixed between the industrial look on the ceiling & pillar, & the soft wood, combine with the use of the yellow light makes the place look cozy. The golden hour is the best time to visit because the sun shines through the café window. The matcha latte is also good & it comes with the unique cup with the café logo. They also sell cocktail too for those who wants to drink alcohol.View more

Super café au bord du canal Lachine. Le personnel est très accueillant & sympathique. Ils laissent rentrer les chiens pour commander à emporter. Le café est délicieux & les toasts à l'avocat aussi. Endroit hyper propre, idéal pour un café en coup de vent ou pour une après-midi à travailler sur l'ordinateur.View more

Je trouve ça assez dommage de devoir donné une note comme cela. Le café servis est excellent & l'endroit est superbe. Alors pourquoi une telle note? Chaque fois que je vais au redwood je suis servis par le même homme, qui a tout sauf l'envie d'être là. Chaque fois qu'il me sert, il est bête comme ses pieds. Ou même quand je pose des questions sur leurs produits, il me répond sec & vaguement pour simplement s'en débarrasser & passer à autre chose, alors que c'est loin d'être le rush. Pour être moi même une barista dans un café 3e vague je trouve ça inadmissible d'avoir un employé qui traite la clientèle de la sorte. Surtout quand on payes le café à 7$. Si vous chercher un service amicale, je vous déconseille fortement le redwood.View more

Café Redwood is a very nice place next to Atwater market & Charleroi metro station. I have tried the chou a la creme. Delicious! Coffee was great too. The lounge has many seats for people who would like to study or work with their computer, all equipped with power socket. A very good place to discover 😊View more

Je m'y suis arrêté par hasard parce que j'étais en avance pour la réservation au Shushuto juste à côté & wow. Petit endroit super sympa, sans prétention. Y'a des amis qui viennent se donner des nouvelles, des jeunes adultes qui travaillent sur leur portable. Le staff est hyper patient & sympa. J'ai pris un latté glacé aux épices & il était excellent. C'est la première fois que j'ai autant de choix de boissons froides dans un café, j'aurai volontier choisi un menu dégustation si ça avait été possible! Le blanc & le bois clair c'est toujours une combinaison gagnante pour inspirer, détendre & mettre les gens à l'aise. La musique est juste ce qu'il faut mélancholique. Love this spot near the canal! I just went here today with my friend & her twins. We both had strollers so I wasn't sure how we would manage but the cafe is actually quite big & easier to go in with a stroller. However, the barista kindly brought us our lattes as we waited outside which was so sweet! This will be my go-to cafe this winter.View more

I am always on the lookout for cafes that make delicious ice tea lattes & I'm happy to add Cafe Redwood to that list. Their teas are fragrant, not watered down by ice, & perfectly sweetened (though my friend found it too sweet for her liking) They have a great selection of syrups & milk, which is always exciting because I can customise my london fog to my liking. I ordered a london fog with lavender syrup & it was delicious. & they offer pistachio milk, how fun!View more

Vibe is very sterile inside, not a lot of warmth. & you can hear everyone’s conversations (bad acoustics). The terrace is on a very noisy street with many trucks especially at rush hour. I didn’t have long to stop in but I wanted to review notes before a meeting. The person at the counter didn’t seem to know anything about the menu when I asked questions. The lemonade I had was fine? Seems overrated but I’d give them another shot perhaps …
Edit: & now it seems the ownership or whoever is replying to reviews is making some weird insinuation about me because many of my other reviews are positive - that’s a great way to win clients. I live in the Pointe & love to show love to cafes & restaurants that treat clientele well, because I know Google rating makes a difference. I also reviewed a paper shop in the plateau at the same time as I wrote 3 other reviews because Google gamifies interactions .401041993586E+43; & I noticed that perhaps my fave cafe I haven’t even written a review of, so I bookmarked that for later. (Might not be an exciting Saturday evening but at least I’m not stalking the ppl leaving reviews for my business.)View more
