This cafe looks like a hidden gem of this neighborhood since it's located in front of a busy Papineau street & hard to find car parking if you are using car, but not with other methods of transportation. The place looks wild & expressive since there are a lot of decorations & really captures the uniqueness of this place. On the second floor, they are setting up a spot to watch while doing your work. The staff are really friendly & have a nice chat with the staff. Their latte tastes okay, but really like the atmosphere of this cafe & can consider to do a work in the future in here.

Voyons le positif tout d'abord. Le café Orr est une sorte de mini institution à Montréal. L'architecture & le décor lumineux y sont merveilleux. Tout a été pensé pour créer un endroit artistique. La nourriture est assez diversifiée & plutôt bonne. Les heures d'ouverture rendent le lieu attrayant.
Mais plusieurs baristas y ont un sérieux problème d'attitude. Elles ne se cachent même pas pour dénigrer ou déblatérer sur les gens. Elles médisent les unes des autres, au sujet du management ou, fait impardonnable, au sujet des clients. Y a qu'à s'asseoir près de l'îlot où elles cuisinent pour les entendre.
Plusieurs des baristas du café vivent une crise d'adolescence qui se prolonge en comportement passif agressif. Dommage. 🤷🏻

Super funky & uniquely decorated place! They have two levels & have a little movie area where they were projecting a silent anime movie when I was there. Worth a trip, & I love that they close late!
Original atmosphere. Ideal for team discussions, or if you don't like to feel alone while working or studying.
Pros:
- Good coffee.
- Tasty (but greasy) food for a fair price (I loved the grilled cheese)
- Free & fast WiFi.
- Electrical outlets available almost everywhere.
- The service is relaxed & pleasant.
Other:
- The atmosphere is particular (concrete, exposed plumbing, intentionally dirty mirror, very busy decoration, etc.). Give it a miss if you need a clean & peaceful environment.
-No direct sunlight coming inside the coffee.
Cuisine simple mais généreuse & honnête. Très bon service. Décoration éclectique & très artistique ! Ambiance exceptionnelle ! Diffusion de films de répertoire. Propriétaire des plus attentionnés envers ses clients & ses employés. Mon café préféré à vie, mon 2e salon !

Probably one of my fav cafes right now !! The atmosphere is so nice, everything is beautifully decorated & the food & drinks are so good. There are two floors, so I'd say it's pretty spacious, & there are a bunch of board games lying around that you could use. A definite place to go check out, trust me !!
Great cafe, amazing music. The decor & layout is like nothing i've seen in Montreal cafe before. However be weary of the tofu bowls, if you order small there is no tofu which i found quite odd as it is 9$ + tip.
Randomly stumbled upon this cafe while shopping - the atmosphere was super cool, loved the decor & the food was amazing at a great price point, the staff was also friendly. highly recommend 🫶
the music is way too loud to comfortably focus on anything. I stayed for a number of hours with with my noise cancelling headphones on high & could still hear it. this is the only flaw i hope they can improve. otherwise i really liked all of the seating options & decor.
It has a unique decor, & the ambiance is very nice also. They project movies each week. You can also propose some to them. The food is good too. It is a nice place to hang out, grab a snack & to study too.
